Three Wildcats Named All-America Scholars

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Three Kansas State men's golfers – Fionn Dobbin, Shea Harmeson and JP Roller – were honored for their work in the classroom for a second time following the 2025-26 season as they were named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA) announced Monday.
This is the second time in Roller's career that he has earned the honor, while Dobbin and Harmeson are first-time recipients. All three players were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-Big 12 Team.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a scoring average under 76.00 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.20. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
As a sophomore this past season, Dobbin finished the year with a 73.53 scoring average in his 11 events, 10 of which came as a part of the scoring lineup. The Lisburn, Northern Ireland, native produced three top-20 finishes, including a season-best tie for eighth place in the Git-R-Done Invitational at 2-under par 211.
Harmeson, who transferred to K-State from Saginaw Valley State, finished second on the team with a 72.83 scoring average over his 10 events. The Traverse City, Michigan, native earned a pair of runner-up finishes as he tied for second in the season-opening Wildcat Invitational at 3-under par 213 before a second-place finish in the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate with a season-best 54-hole score of 7-under par 206.
A native of Jenks, Oklahoma, Roller competed in eight events during his final season as he put together a 74.13 scoring average. He earned a career-best finish of a tie for third place during the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate when he carded a career-best 54-hole score of 5-under par 208.
