CAREER: An tough player who provides leadership... A selfless player who voluntarily redshirted what would have been his senior year in 2012 to help linebacker depth in 2013.

2013 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Led the team and ranked fourth in the Big 12 with 110 total tackles, while his 68 solo stops ranked fourth in school history... Tallied the most single-season tackles since Josh Buhl broke the school record with 184 in 2003... Had at least seven tackles in 10 games, while he reached the 10-tackle mark on four occasions... Intercepted his first career pass against TCU, while he registered a career-best three passes defended at Texas... Ended the season with a 15-tackle effort at Kansas, the most by a Wildcat since David Garrett had 16 at Colorado in 2010... Named a Midseason All-Big 12 performer by Phil Steele.

Was stellar against UCF as he tallied team-high 13 tackles and his first career sack... Came back with six stops and another sack against Nebraska... Had another double-digit tackle contest against Texas when he made 10 stops... Also made five tackles against both Missouri State and Iowa State.
