CAREER: A former community-college walk-on who ended up making an impact in the secondary... Started 11 career games... Helped the 2014 Senior Class finish with a 38-14 combined record over the last four years, including a Big 12-best 27-9 conference record.

Recorded his second-career interception against Oklahoma State on a Hail Mary at the end of the first half... His pick was one of a career-best two passes defended... Also had eight tackles in a win at Oklahoma.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Butler Community College under head coach Troy Morrell... Helped the Grizzlies go 22-2 during his time at Butler... Earned Second Team All-Jayhawk Conference honors as a sophomore in 2011 when he made 59 tackles, including three for loss, picked off three passes and forced three fumbles... Made two tackles as a freshman in 2010.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years at Maize under head coach Craig Broadbent... Led team to district runner-up finishes as a sophomore and junior, while the Eagles were league champions his senior year... Earned first team all-league accolades as a defensive back in 2009... Totaled 147 tackles, six interceptions and broke up five passes during his time at Maize... Also lettered three years in golf, earning second team all-league honors on two occasions and qualifying for the state tournament three times... A three-year academic letterwinner and a member of the principal's honor roll.
