CAREER: A former walk-on from the community-college ranks who did not play his first two years in the program became a starter at during his senior campaign.

2013 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Played in every game with starts in the final 12 contests... Tied for second on the team in interceptions with three, including picks in consecutive games against West Virginia and Iowa State... Tied for seventh in the Big 12 in conference-only interceptions and passes defended... Helped the Wildcats earn their first bowl victory in 11 years.

2012: Did not see any game action.

2011: Redshirted.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Hutchinson CC under head coach Rion Rhoades... Was an honorable mention All-American in 2010 after carding 55 tackles, including 3.5 for loss, intercepting three passes, breaking up three passes and recovering a fumble... Also earned First Team All-Jayhawk League and First Team All-Region VI honors... Helped the Blue Dragons finish fifth in the final NJCAA poll after winning the Salt City Bowl over Eastern Arizona... Played in nine games as a freshman in 2009, recording 26 tackles, one interception, five pass breakups and a fumble recovery.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Wichita Heights High School under head coach Rick Wheeler... An all-state performer by the Kansas Football Coaches Association in 2008... Helped the Falcons earn a 9-2 record and win league and district championships... Broke the school records for most career returns yards, interceptions and pass break-ups... Carded 362 career tackles and nine career interceptions.... Also participated in basketball and track.
