Ended the summer with a 1.59 ERA (2 ER, 11.1 IP) and a 0-1 record playing for Elizabethton in the Appalachian League …  Struck out seven batters and issued 11 walks.

Appeared in 14 games as a true freshman, capping the year with a 5.68 ERA (19 IP, 12 ER) with and 0-1 record and 12 strikeouts … Made collegiate debut on February 23, against Holy Cross … Issued seven walks while opponents hit .250 against him …  Struck out a season high three against UMass Lowell (March 1) over 1 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit … Logged at least two innings four times …  In Big 12 play, went 0-1 with a 2.70 ERA (2 ER, 6.2 IP) with four strikeouts and three walks.
