Made 15 relief appearances in 2024 … Went 2-1 with a 4.26 ERA (12 ER, 25.1 IP) … Struck out 28, walked 13 and opponents hit .255 against him … Made debut on March 13 against South Dakota, tossing a scoreless inning with one strikeout … Earned first win of the year against Omaha, allowing one run and two hits over two innings on April 23 … Punched out five over 2 2/3 innings against Oklahoma State on April 20 … Struck out two in scoreless inning against TCU on May 23 at the Big 12 Championship … Did not allow an earned run in eight of 15 appearances and struck out at least three hitters on five occasions … Tossed the final inning of the Fayetteville Regional Championship, allowing no runs with a strikeout to secure the title … During Big 12 play, went 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA (8 ER, 13.1 IP) while striking out 16 in seven appearances … Made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament, allowing just one hit.
