CAREER: Played in 51 career games with 48 starts... His 48 starts rank fifth among Wildcat offensive linemen since 1990... Named the 2022 and 2023 Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year, one of just five players to earn the honor in consecutive seasons since the award began in 2006... He is joined on that list by Oklahoma’s Creed Humphrey (2019 and 2020) and Orlando Brown (2016 and 2017), as well as Baylor’s Spencer Drango (2014 and 2015) and Cyril Richardson (2012 and 2013)... Was a three-time First Team All-Big 12 honoree, only the second offensive lineman in school history to do so in three-straight years (Dalton Risner, 2016-18)... Allowed only five sacks among his 1,488 career pass blocking snaps (according to Pro Football Focus) with four of those coming in his redshirt freshman season of 2020 as he only allowed one sack in his final 42 games.
2023: Started all 13 games at left tackle en route to Consensus All-America honors, becoming the first K-State offensive lineman to earn the distinction, the 12th overall player to earn the honor and the 14th accolade in school history... A unanimous First Team All-American, picking up the honor from the American Football Coaches Association, CBS Sports, ESPN, FOX Sports, the Football Writers Association of America, Pro Football Focus, Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, The Athletic, USA TODAY, and the Walter Camp Foundation... One of three finalists for the 2023 Outland Trophy, the first player in school history to be named a finalist for the award... One of 12 semifinalists nationally for the 2023 Lombardi Award... One of 16 finalists nationally – and one of nine from the FBS – for the 2023 William V. Campbell Trophy, which is often referred to as the “Academic Heisman”... Was the ninth Wildcat all-time to be named an NFF National Scholar-Athlete and finalist for the Campbell Trophy, including the sixth in the last 13 years and the second straight (Adrian Martinez)... Named the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year and was an All-Big 12 First Team performer... Saw time on 945 offensive snaps during the season with 832 of those snaps coming at left guard... Even played three snaps at defensive tackle over the Texas and Baylor games – carding a tackle against the Bears – while he was a regular member of the punt coverage unit the entire season... Helped the Wildcats rank in the top 10 in school history in 32 game or season categories, including a school-record 30 passing touchdowns, No. 2 rankings in offensive yards per game (445.2) and first downs (310), and a No. 3 showing in total yards (5,788)... K-State finished the season in the top 30 nationally in 11 offensive categories, including scoring (10th – 37.1 points per game), rushing (11th – 204.1 yards per game), third down conversions (11th – 47.9%), rushing touchdowns (12th – 32) and first downs (12th – 310)... Earned Outland Trophy Player of the Week honors following the TCU game, a contest in which the Wildcats rushed for 343 yards and totaled 587 yards, the sixth most in school history... Earned Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators and First Team Academic All-Big 12 accolades... Voted a team captain.
2022: One of the top interior offensive linemen in the nation during the 2022 season who started all 14 games at left guard... Named a First Team All-American by The Athletic, ESPN, FOX Sports and Sporting News, a Second Team All-American by the Associated Press, CBS Sports, Pro Football Focus and USA TODAY and an Honorable Mention All-American by Phil Steele... Named the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year by the league’s coaches, while he was an All-Big 12 First Team selection by both the coaches and Associated Press for a second-straight season... Rated the 65th best overall player in college football during the 2022 season by Pro Football Focus... Helped lead an offensive unit that ranked 15th nationally with 208.3 rushing yards per game, the Wildcats’ best national ranking since 2003 (9th) and best mark since 2016 (231.8)... Also helped K-State rank third in school history in rushing yards per carry (5.12), fourth in total rushing yards (2,916) and 10th in rushing touchdowns (32)... The Wildcats also ranked second in school history in total offensive yards (5,863) and ninth in offensive yards per play (6.12)... Did not surrender a sack on the year according to Pro Football Focus, while he was flagged for only one penalty all season, which came in the season opener against South Dakota... Also took snaps at left tackle and was a member of the Wildcats’ punt coverage team... Earned Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators in addition to First Team Academic All-Big 12 accolades, the latter being nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA... Voted a team captain.
2021: A 13-game starter at left tackle who picked up All-Big 12 First Team honors from both the league’s coaches and Associated Press, the youngest offensive lineman to be named to the first team by either organization... The first Wildcat freshman or sophomore offensive lineman to be named an All-Big 12 First Team performer since Dalton Risner in 2016... Also earned votes for the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year Award from the league’s coaches... Did not allow a sack among his 367 pass blocking snaps... Helped K-State tie for second in the Big 12 with 29 rushing touchdowns, while the Wildcats’ 4.83 yards per rush ranked sixth in school history... A versatile player who also took snaps at right guard throughout the season... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer.
2020: Played in nine games with eight starts... Started the first three games at right tackle before an injury sidelined him for one contest... Started four more games at right tackle and the final game at left guard... Part of a unit that helped K-State tie for first in the Big 12 and 27th nationally in sacks allowed (14), while the Wildcats led the Big 12 and ranked fourth in the nation in red zone offense (93.9%)... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 accolades.
2019: Played against Bowling Green and Kansas as a reserve offensive lineman, retaining his redshirt for the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years at Piper, including the final season under head coach Rick Pollard... Rated the 79th-best defensive tackle in the Class of 2019 by ESPN, while the organization also ranked him the ninth-best player in the state of Kansas... Earned first team all-state honors from the Topeka Capital-Journal and Wichita Eagle in 2017, while he was an honorable mention pick by both outlets as a freshman, sophomore and senior... Also picked up first team all-state honors from the Kansas Football Coaches Association (KFBCA) as an offensive lineman in 2018... Totaled 128 tackles with 34 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and five forced fumbles during his career... Selected to play in for Team USA U17 in the 2017 International Bowl against Team Japan as well as for Team USA U19 in the 2018 World Championships and the 2019 Kansas Shrine Bowl... Also competed in the shot put, placing third in the state in 2017, and basketball.
PERSONAL: Cooper Beebe was born May 19, 2001, in Kansas City, Missouri... Son of Tom and Tamara Beebe... Has three brothers, Colton, Collin and Camden... Camden is a freshman offensive lineman for the Wildcats... Father, Tom, played football at Pittsburg State, while his brother, Colton, was a tight end at Minnesota... Graduated from Kansas State with a degree in social studies education in May 2023, while he is currently pursuing his master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.
