CAREER: Played at K-State for two seasons, starting all 22 career games played.

2023: Started all 12 games, tying for third on the team with 57 tackles to go along with 3.5 tackles for loss and three interceptions as he earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors...  Recorded a career-high two picks at Texas Tech, the first Wildcat with a multi-interception game since Kevion McGee had two at Iowa State in 2018, while he was the first K-State safety with multiple picks in a game since Travis Green against Texas Tech in 2014... It was one of 12 games in the Big 12 during the 2023 season with two picks, tied for the fourth most in a game nationally... Also had seven tackles against the Red Raiders as he earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors... On the preseason watch lists for the Chuck Bednarik Award, Bronko Nagurski Trophy and Jim Thorpe Award... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer... Voted a team captain.

2022: Started the first 10 games at strong safety before an injury cut his season short... Tied for fourth on the team with 58 tackles despite missing the final four games as he earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors from the league’s coaches in addition to earning votes for the Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year award... Totaled three interceptions to tie for 43rd nationally and sixth in the Big 12... Also had three tackles for loss and a forced fumble... Registered a season-high 11 tackles at Oklahoma en route to Big 12 Newcomer of the Week accolades... Had TFLs against South Dakota, Texas Tech and Texas, the latter coming on a third-down stop to give the ball back to the Wildcats with a chance to tie the game late in the fourth quarter... Tallied interceptions in back-to-back games against Missouri and Tulane, teaming with Daniel Green to give K-State the same two players with picks in the same consecutive games since 2014 (Dante Barnett and Randall Evans vs. West Virginia and Kansas)... Had nine tackles and forced a fumble against Texas Tech, while he had eight tackles against Texas and seven against Tulane.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Tyler JC under head coach Thomas Rocco... Viewed as the 38th-best overall community-college prospect and fifth-best community-college safety in the Class of 2022 by ESPN... Totaled 100 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, six interceptions and four pass breakups during his career, which included a 70-tackle campaign as a sophomore as he earned Second Team NJCAA All-America and first team all-conference honors... Carded a career-high 12 tackles on two occasions in 2021, coming against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and at Kilgore College... Returned an interception 54 yards for a touchdown against NEO... Had two interceptions in the Tyler’s second game of the year against Kilgore... Helped Tyler JC to a 28-7 victory over Coffeyville CC in the Heart of Texas Bowl... Played at Tyler with current Wildcat cornerback Justice Clemons.

2019 AT TEXAS A&M COMMERCE: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year letterwinner at Paris under head coach Steve Hohenberger as both a quarterback and safety... Totaled 107 tackles, eight pass breakups, two interceptions and four tackles for loss... Also tallied 28 touchdowns, 1,568 rushing yards and 986 passing yards... Earned all-district honors... Helped the Wildcats win district, bi-district and area championships.

PERSONAL: Kobe Savage was born February 12, 2001, in Paris, Texas... Son of Da’on Savage and Stacey Godbolt... Has two siblings, Adin and Kaidance... Majoring in communication studies.
