• His career 59.5 field goal percentage ranks first in school history, while he set the school single-season record for field goal percentage for the second consecutive season by hitting on a Big 12-best 62.3 percent as a senior in 2016-17.
• Johnson is just the fourth Wildcat to connect on 60 percent or better from the field in a single season, joining Tony Kitt (1998-99), Marcus McCollough (1997-98) and Steve Soldner (1977-78).
• Finished with 863 career points, including 681 in his last two seasons, ranking 41st on the all-time scoring list… Averaged 10.3 points on 61.7 percent shooting as a junior and senior.

• Darrell Jerome Johnson, Jr. was born Oct. 8, 1993 in St. Louis, Mo. ... Parents are Darrell Johnson, Sr. and Danielle Little... Has three older sisters (Denetra, Denisha and Denae) and a younger brother, Johnathan.
• Selected K-State over a number of other offers, including those from Alabama, Colorado State, Memphis, Minnesota and Virginia Tech.
• Became the first player to commit to head coach Bruce Weber and the first to sign a National Letter of Intent on April 27, 2012.
• Earned his bachelor’s degree in social science in May 2016 and is currently working toward a Master’s degree in community planning and design.
