As A Senior (2017-18)

Served as co-captain.
Saw action in 13 games, averaging 1.5 minutes per game off the bench… Played a season-high 4 minutes in the wins over American (11/10/17) and UC Irvine (11/17/17).
Missed on all four field goals attempted, including both 3-point attempts.
Dished out an assist in the win over USC Upstate (12/5/17).
Played in 3 Big 12 contests for a total of 2 minutes… Did not register any stats.
Played in 3 of the 4 NCAA Tournament games.

As A Junior (2016-17)

Saw action in 13 games, averaging 1.7 minutes per game off the bench… Played a season-high 4 minutes in the win over Omaha (11/15/16).
Averaged 0.7 points on 50 percent shooting (3-of-6), including 60 percent (3-of-5) from 3-point range, to go with 0.1 rebounds per game… All 9 points came from 3-point range, hitting triples against Western Illinois (11/11/16), Hampton (11/20/16) and at Saint Louis (12/3/16).
Snagged his only rebound vs. Prairie View A&M (12/6/16).
Collected assists vs. Hampton (11/20/16) and at Saint Louis (12/3/16).
Played in 2 Big 12 contests for a total of 4 minutes… Did not register any stats.

European Tour (Summer 2016)

Helped the Wildcats to a 3-2 record during their 10-day tour of Italy and Switzerland (August 8-19)… Saw action in all 5 games, averaging 1.4 points per game.

As A Sophomore (2015-16)

Saw action in 10 games, averaging 1.1 minutes per game off the bench… Played a season-high 3 minutes twice, first in the opener vs. UMES (11/13/15) and again vs. TCU (3/2/16).
Averaged 0.1 points, 0.1 rebounds and 0.1 assists in 1.1 minutes per game… The first point of his career came from the free throw line vs. TCU (3/2/16).
Grabbed his only rebound vs. Oklahoma State (1/23/16), while he dished out his 1 assist vs. UMES (11/13/15).
Played in 5 Big 12 contests… Averaged 0.2 points and 0.2 rebounds in Big 12 play in 1.0 minute per game.

As A Redshirt Freshman (2014-15)

Saw action in 10 games… Played a season-high 3 minutes at No. 20/20 Baylor (2/21/15).
Did not score, but grabbed 2 rebounds on the season with 1 board at Long Beach State (11/21/14) and Pittsburgh (11/26/14).
Played in 4 Big 12 contests with no statistics.

High School

A two-year letterman at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas … Team posted a 48-2 combined record his junior and senior seasons, which included a pair of league and sub-state titles, the 2013 Class 6A state title and a runner-up finish at state in 2012.
Served as team captain as a senior, helping the team to a perfect 25-0 record and the Class 6A state title over rival Blue Valley West (46-29).
Earned honorable mention All-Eastern Kansas League honors as a senior.
Averaged 10 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game as a senior… Set a school-record with a 93 percent free throw percentage… Scored a season-high 15 points against league rival Blue Valley North… Averaged 8 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists as a junior.
Named to the All-Academic Team by the Greater Kansas City Basketball Coaches Association.
Lettered twice in baseball.

Personal

Mason Kenneth Schoen was born Sept. 30, 1994 in Overland Park, Kan. … Parents are Kelly and Kristi Schoen… Has an older sister, Chandler, and a younger brother, Dalton.
Brother, Dalton, is a walk-on wide receiver on the K-State football team.
Participated in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum, June 2-5, 2016, in Indianapolis.
Earned his bachelor’s degree in finance in May 2017… Finished a second bachelor’s degree in marketing to complete his dual degree in May 2018 as well as took classes towards an MBA.
