Recorded seven victories from the No. 2 line in dual-match play... Earned two Big 12 wins from April 3-9, which features a two-set effort over Kansas' Malkia Ngounoue, who was ranked No. 102 in the nation... Fought off Baylor's Hinojosa at the No. 2 spot in three sets to earn K-State's second point of the match in the 5-2 loss to the No. 10 Bears... Scorched doubles play with teammate Karine-Marion Job to post a 11-2 mark in the fall season... Started the fall campaign with a 7-0 record in doubles' action... Made it all the way to the Doubles Consolation Championship at the OSU Fall Series Championship... JUNIOR (2019-20)
Earned a trip to the Qualifying Round in singles play at the ITA All-American Championships back on October 8.... Compiled a 8-3 mark in dual-match play for singles while posting a 7-2 record in doubles.... Secured the win for K-State against Arizona back on February 9... Went toe-to-toe with Duke's Kelly Chen on January 25, who was ranked No. 10 in the country by the ITA.... Posted a 5-1 mark with teammate Karine-Marion Job in the No. 1 spot in doubles play during the spring season... Reached as high as the No. 106 ranking in singles play by the ITA during the fall season... Competed against five ranked opponents in 2019-20... Had reached as high as a four-match win streak during the spring season from the No. 1 position... Won a doubles match against a Texas A&M duo with Job at the ITA All-American Championships.... Posted a 6-3 record from the No. 1 singles spot and 2-0 mark from the No. 2 singles spot in dual matches.... ITA All-Academic Team.
SOPHOMORE (2018-19)
Posted a 14-12 singles mark (4-5 Big 12) in the 2018-19 season ... During the spring season, went 10-9 playing at the top two spot in the lineup ... Linares went 5-5 at the No. 1 singles spot while going 5-1 a No. 2 ... Went 6-3 in three-set matches and 8-7 in two-set matches ... In the fall, posted a 4-3 singles record with two wins coming at the ITA Central Regional Championships ... Linares turned in a five-match winning streak from March 2-17 ... Went 2-7 against ITA nationally ranked opponents ... In doubles play, went 8-5 (3-3 Big 12) while paired with Ines Mesquita and Ioana Gheorghita ... Went 6-4 when paired with Gheorghita from the No. 3 doubles position, including a 3-3 conference record, winning three straight Big 12 matches from March 24-April 7.Â
FRESHMAN (2017-18)
Named Big 12 Freshman of the Year and ITA Central Region Rookie of the Year after helping K-State reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament ... Also earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Second Team and All-Freshman Team ... Tabbed Big 12 Player of the Week on Feb. 27 ... Opened her first year at K-State with a 20-10 record in singles play and a 15-16 record in doubles play, including opening with an 14-7 record in singles play in the spring season from the Nos. 1-4 positions... The Venezuelan product owned a five-match winning streak from February 29-March 4 and picked up a ranked win vs. Norris of TCU in K-State's 4-3 comeback win on March 23.Â
