All-Big 12 Freshman Team … Led the team with 20 wins in overall singles and 14 in dual … 20 singles wins were the most by a K-State freshman since Petra Niedermayerova in 2010-11 … 14-18 in overall doubles, including 7-11 in the dual season … In singles, started out at the No. 6 position before competing as high as No. 2 … 5-0 at No. 6 singles and 5-1 at No. 5 … Also went 3-2 at No. 4 … Won 7 straight singles matches to start the spring and 10 of her first 11 … Of her first 10 singles wins, 8 were in two sets … Won three straight Big 12 singles April 8-16 … Beat Regina Espindola of Iowa State for her first career Big 12 singles win … Followed up by trumping Lyn Yuen Choo of West Virginia (6-3, 7-5) on April 10 and then Nina Khmelnitckaia of KU (7-6 [2], 7-5) on April 16 … All three of those Big 12 wins were at No. 4 singles … Did not finish 3 of her last 5 singles matches during the dual season … Started the spring paired up with Carolina Costamagna at No. 1 doubles, going 4-5 … Played alongside fellow freshman Ana Garcia Navas to close out the dual campaign, posting a 3-6 record (3-5 Big 12) … Biggest win with Garcia Navas was against No. 27 Arantekin/Wegner of TCU on April 3 … The victory over the ranked opponent kick-started a three-match winning streak for the two freshmen.
