Kristin Waller is in her 21st year with K-State Athletics, including her sixth as Senior Associate Athletics Director for the Evans Student-Athlete Success Program. She is in her 14th year overall in Student-Athlete Services where she served as Associate Director for three years (2014-17) and as Director of Life Skills/Academic Counselor for four years (2009-13).
Prior to her time in Student-Athlete Services, Waller worked as the assistant director for compliance services for six years (2003-09). She began her stint in athletics in 2002, serving as assistant director of operations for the women’s basketball team.
In addition to her responsibilities within K-State Athletics, Waller serves as a color analyst on the K-State Sports Network during women’s basketball broadcasts, and is also a member of N4A and Women Leaders in College Sports.
Waller earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing in 2002 and a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications in 2008, both from K-State. A four-year letterwinner for the K-State women’s basketball team, she was a four-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection and still holds school record for career 3-point field goal percentage.
A native of Corning, Kansas, Waller and her husband, Brad, reside in Manhattan with their daughter, Taryn and son, Ty.
