Triple Jump/Long Jump Clinic - Sunday, October 19, 2008
The cost is $75 per individual. For additional information, call the KSU Track and Field Office at 785-532-6567.
This clinic is open to both coaches and athletes. A tentative schedule follows. The emphasis is on education, but there will be an opportunity for the athletes to participate in drills and actual jumping activities if they wish.

National Heptathlon Champion Shelia Burrell’s jump of 21’ 6 ” in the heptathlon at the USA 2002 Heptathlon Championships was the longest jump at the

2 Females over 46’ in Triple Jump in 2004
Chaytan Hill 46’10”
Vanitta Kinard 46’ 4 ”
Vanitta Kinard placed third at the 2004 US Olympic Trials
Chaytan Hill was the NCAA Indoor Runner-up in 2004
3 Males over 53’ and 6 over 50’ while at
Jumpers attending are asked to bring whatever shoes they compete in, as well as, training flats.
Available for purchase will be video tapes professional made by Coach Rovelto. They can be bought for $40.00.

3. Training the Combined Event Athlete
T-shirts will also be available for purchase for $10.00.
The seminar is subject to cancellation if the demand is not great enough. If this happens you will be notified and your money will be returned to you on Thursday, October 16.
