Chisholm is one of just two Big 12 student-athletes named to this year volleyball Academic All-America Team with Nebraska's Kori Cooper getting first team recognition.
"This is a tremendous honor for Jules," said head coach Suzie Fritz. "She works exceptionally hard at her academics and this is a very well-deserved honor."
K-State's last Academic All-American in volleyball was Cari Jansen in 2003 when she was named to the first team. Jansen also earned third team honors the previous year. Jennifer Koehn was named to the third team in 1982.
Kansas State Athletics has seen a number of academic achievements from its student-athletes this season and holds the highest graduation rate for all sports combined in the Big 12 Conference for a third straight year.
