No. 16 Wildcats Fall at Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Jessra Johnson scored 17 points as Missouri stifled Kansas State (No. 14 ESPN/USA Today, No. 16 AP) 52-43 on Wednesday night, the Wildcats' worst offensive outing of the season.
Kansas State (20-4, 7-4 Big 12) entered the game averaging 64.3 points and had only been held below 50 points once previously, in a 64-48 loss to Oklahoma on Jan. 14.
Ashley Sweat scored 17 points for the Wildcats, who had just two assists as they played without Big 12 assists leader Shalee Lehning.
Missouri (12-12, 3-8) fell behind 16-10 midway through the first half, but came back to take the lead for good at 19-18 on a Johnson layup with 4:41 left in the period.
The Tigers led 20-26 at halftime and widened the margin to double digits for most of the second half.
Alyssa Hollins added 13 points and Shakara Jones finished with 12 for Missouri.
Kansas State shot 31 percent from the floor and finished just 1-for-18 from 3-point range.
