Jan 22, 2016 | Tennis
MANHATTAN, Kan. – The dual match between K-State women’s tennis and Evansville scheduled for Saturday in Springfield, Missouri has been canceled due to inclement weather in southwest Indiana affecting the Purple Aces’ travel plans.
The Wildcats will still play host Missouri State in the Cooper Tennis Complex on Saturday at 10 a.m. The match kicks off the dual season for K-State.
Last year, the Wildcats defeated Missouri State, 5-2, in Manhattan. Palma Juhasz, Iva Bago, Livia Cirnu and Maria Panaite all picked up singles points while the duos of Juhasz-Cirnu and Panaite-Bago helped the team capture the doubles point.
