
Maffei to Compete at ITF Norman Professional Event

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State tennis freshman Rosanna Maffei will compete at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) professional event at the University of Oklahoma at the Headington Family Tennis Center and the Gregg Wadley Tennis Pavilion in Norman, Oklahoma.
Maffei will compete in preliminary singles rounds beginning Sunday. This event will be the second professional event Maffei has participated in while at K-State.
The product of Atripalda, Italy, is 5-2 in singles play to begin her K-State career. K-State freshmen hold the best record of any class on the team, going 25-11 to begin the season.
Draws for the event will be published Saturday and fans can follow results live through the official K-State women's tennis Twitter account @KStateTEN.
