MANHATTAN, Kan. - The K-State women's tennis team will compete with six members of head coach Danielle Steinberg's squad at the Kitty Harrison Invitational at the University of North Carolina at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center from November 3-5.
K-State will be one of 13 schools represented this weekend in Chapel Hill, carrying senior Carolina Costamagna, sophomores Meghan King and Ines Mesquita along with freshmen Margot Decker, Maria Linares and Anna Turco.
In the three-day event, the Wildcats will play head-to-head each day against teams in both doubles and singles. Friday's action begins at 8 a.m. CT, as the Cats' doubles teams will face off with Virginia before singles play at 1 p.m., against South Carolina.

Costamagna hopes to continue the success she has found in her senior campaign. Costamagna finds herself 7-3 this season in singles play.
King sees her first action in match play in nearly three weeks. The Overland Park, Kansas, product is 3-4 in singles to begin her K-State career.

Linares looks to build off her experience at the ITA Regionals, where she finished 2-1 on the weekend, improving to 6-1 in singles play this season.
Turco similarly looks to build on her continued success in the fall season. The freshman from Italy is 7-2 to begin her career at K-State.
The invitational is the final collegiate even for the Cats during the fall season, as K-State will also meet William & Mary, Michigan, Duke and Eastern Carolina over the weekend. Fans can follow results live through the official K-State women's tennis Twitter account @KStateTEN.
