LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Kansas State will spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the Wildcats participate in the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout at the South Point Resort on November 24-25. K-State will face (5/4) UCLA on Friday at 3:15 p.m. (CT), and Penn State on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. (CT).
• Both games in the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout will be available on the K-State Sports Network.
• K-State has started a season 4-0 for the third time in four seasons under the direction of head coach
Jeff Mittie. Mittie is the second coach in program history to achieve this feat and first since Lynn Hickey from 1979-83.
• In the Wildcats' last game, Kansas State rallied from a seven-point fourth quarter deficit at North Texas to secure a 55-54 road win on Sunday. It was the first road win decided by one-point since Jan. 14, 2012, at Texas Tech.
• K-State was paced by three players in double figures: freshman

• Goth, a guard from DeForest, Wisconsin, is averaging 12.3 points on a team-high .548 field goal percentage. She is handing out 7.0 assists and pocketing 2.5 steals.

Jeff Mittie, Kansas State has piled up blocked shots. Under Mittie, K-State has sent back 486 shots for 4.7 per game in the 103 games.
• The Wildcats have started the season with 30 blocks (7.5 bpg). K-State ranks eighth in the nation in total blocks and 10th in the nation in blocks per game.
• Over the previous three seasons, K-State blocked 456 shots the most over a 3-season span since K-State blocked 486 shots from 2005-06 to 2007-08.
• In the 2016-17 season, K-State had 143 blocks (4.3 bpg), the third straight season with 100 or more blocks and the 11th in program history. The Wildcats blocked five or more shots in 16 games last season.

• Ranke finished with a game-high 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including a 6-of-12 effort from 3-point range. She also notched two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 37 minutes of action.
• The six 3-pointers by the Burnsville, Minnesota, native were the most by a K-State freshman since Laurie Koehn registered six against Missouri on Feb. 27, 2002.
• In her second career start, Ranke led K-State with 23 points on 7-of-15 shooting, including a 5-of-11 effort from beyond the arc. She also tallied a 4-of-4 performance at the foul line.
• She is the first K-State freshman since the 2013-14 season to register consecutive games of 20 or more points.
• In her first season in Manhattan, Ranke is averaging a team-high 16.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.0 assists and 0.8 blocks. She leads all Big 12 freshmen in scoring and 3-point field goals made.

Martin is K-State's Swiss Army Knife  Â

Shaelyn Martin has put together a diverse stat line in her career and continued to do so in the 2017-18 season.
• Against Florida A&M on Nov. 17, Martin notched a stat line of eight points, a career-high 15 rebounds, six assists and five steals.
• With her six assists against FAMU, it marked the 26th time in her career she has handed out five or more assists. Martin ranks 11th in school history with 327 assists and is seventh in school history for career assist to turnover ratio at 1.39.
• With her 15 rebounds against Florida A&M, Martin tallied her 67th career game with five or more rebounds. Her career total stands at 585 and she ranks tied for 17th on the K-State career rebounds list. She is the seventh player in program history with 550 or more rebounds and 300 or more assists.
• In the 2016-17 season, Martin tallied 4.7 points, handed out 109 assists with 67 turnovers (3.2 apg; 1.63 assist/turnover ratio), pulled in 165 rebounds (4.9 rpg) and blocked a career-high 12 shots.
• This was her second straight season with 150 or more rebounds and 100 or more assists.
• Her 161 points this season were a new career season-high.
• Martin ranked 10th in the Big 12 in assists per game and seventh in assist to turnover ratio.
