MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State, fresh off its third consecutive series win, sets its sights on a midweek showdown against Creighton Tuesday night, with first pitch slated for 6:30 p.m. at Tointon Family Stadium.
The Wildcats (10-5) took two of three games from Mercer as have won 10 of their last 12 games overall.
The matchup with the Bluejays will broadcast on Cox Channel Kansas and will stream free at K-StateHD.TV. Live audio will also stream at k-statesports.com and fans in the Manhattan area can listen to action on KMAN (93.3 FM, 1350 AM).

Kansas State won its third consecutive weekend series with a 13-6 victory Sunday against the Mercer Bears ... Mercer, the Southern Conference's preseason favorite, had won eight of nine before the weekend set in Manhattan ... In Friday's 12-3 series-opening win over the Bears, Drew Mount hit two grand slams and drove in eight runs while starter Kasey Ford struck out a career-high 10 batters over seven innings ... Mount became the first Wildcat to hit two grand slams in a game since 1994 and was the first to post an eight-RBI game since 2006 ... Ford has three wins and three quality outings in his last three starts ... In Sunday's rubber match, Will Brennan turned in his second straight four-hit game in helping clinch the series ... He leads the Big 12 in homers (7), RBI (29), slugging (.870), total bases (47) and stolen bases (12) ...
