Cats, Mavs Square Off Tuesday at Tointon

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State and Omaha will face off in a nonconference matchup at Tointon Family Stadium on Tuesday, with first pitch slated for 6:30 p.m.
K-State (12-12-, 0-3 Big 12) return home following its first Big 12 series in Fort Worth, in which the Wildcats went 0-3 at No. 15 TCU. Omaha (9-13, 5-1 Summit) has won five of its last six games overall, including back-to-back league series wins.
The Wildcats own a 10-2 record all-time with the Mavericks, as the two teams split a pair of games in Manhattan in 2017.

Kansas State (12-12, 0-3 Big 12) completed its conference-opening series at TCU over the weekend, dropping all three games to the 15th-ranked Horned Frogs at Lupton stadium ... K-State held a one-run lead into the eighth inning in the series opener Friday before the Frogs scored three in the eighth to take a 4-2 victory ...
