Cats Trek to Nebraska Tuesday Night

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State makes the return trip to Lincoln, Nebraska, Tuesday night to complete a home-and-home midweek series with former conference rival Nebraska at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park, with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.
K-State, winners of four of its last five games, claimed a 6-4 win over the Cornhuskers back on March 8. The Cats will send lefty Wesley Moore to the hill Tuesday while NU will counter with southpaw Jackson Brockett.
Over the weekend, the Wildcats took two of three games from UC Irvine, winning the series' rubber game 5-3 on Sunday behind home runs from Brady Day, Nick Goodwin and Cole Johnson to go with a quality start from Griffin Hassall.
