MANHATTAN, Kansas - (7/7) K-State (18-1, 7-0 Big 12) makes a quick trip to the state of Texas, as the Wildcats face (12/13) Baylor (15-2, 4-2) on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

• The Wildcats have started 18-1 for the first time since the 2008-09 season. With a win, K-State would achieve the first 19-1 record in school history. 
• Monday's game can be seen on FS1, as Ron Thulin (play-by-play) and Nancy Lieberman (analyst) will have the call.

1. K-State Among Top Defenses in Nation
• K-State leads the Big 12 and ranks sixth in the nation in scoring defense (51.9 ppg). The Wildcats lead the league and are second in the nation in field goal percentage defense (.322) and leads the nation in 3-point field goal percentage defense (.216). K-State has held 17 foes to under 60 points in a game this season.
2. We're Going Streaking!
• K-State has won 12 straight games, the fifth-longest winning streak in program history and the longest since the 2008-09 squad won 14 consecutive games.
3. Sundell Stuffs Stat Sheet
• K-State's Serena Sundell tallied 15 points, seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and three blocks against Kansas. She is the only player in the Big 12 to this season register 15+ points, five+ rebounds, five+ assists, three+ blocks and three+ steals in a game this season.
4. Wildcats with Trio in 2k/1.5K/1K Club
• K-State features players with 2,000+ points (Ayoka Lee), 1,500+ points (Gabby Gregory) and 1,000+ points (Serena Sundell). K-State is the only Big 12 team this season with active 2,000-point, 1,500-point and 1,000-point scorers.
5. Sundell Nears top-5 in Assists
• Nancy Liebermand Award candidate Serena Sundell needs three assists to move into fifth in program history for career assists. Sundell owns 446 career assists.

• With a win on Monday, K-State would register its fifth road win of the season. This would tie for the third-most road wins in the Jeff Mittie era and mark the sixth time under Mittie's direction that the Wildcats have won five or more road games.
• With a win, K-State would tally its longest road winning streak since the 2018-19 season when K-State won five straight road games. seven consecutive road wins.
• The school record for consecutive road wins stands at seven which was achieved twice: 1980-81 and 2008-09.

• K-State secured its 12th straight win by capturing the 130th meeting of the Dillons Sunflower Showdown with Kansas.

• K-State was led by Serena Sundell with 15 points, six rebounds, seven assists, three steals and three blocks. Zyanna Walker tallied a career-high 15 points, while Brylee Glenn added 13.

At a Glance: Baylor
• (12/13) Baylor (15-2, 4-2 Big 12) enters Monday's game following a 77-74 win over UCF on Saturday to end a two-game skid.
• On the sideline, Baylor is led by third-year head coach Nicki Collen. Collen is 63-22 (.741) during her time in Waco and led the Bears to the 2021-22 Big 12 regular season crown.
• On the floor, the Bears feature three players in double figures including senior Sarah Andrews, graduate student Dre'una Edwards and sophomore Darianna Littlepage-Buggs.
• Andrews is averaging 12.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists. Against UCF, Andrews tallied 11 points and 10 assists.
• Edwards, a trasnfer from Kentucky, is averaging 12.5 points on a .527 field goal percentage, 7.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Against the Knights, Edwards notched 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting including 2-of-4 from long range, five rebounds and three assists.
• Littlepage-Buggs, a guard/forward from Oklahoma City, is averaging 11.8 points on a .562 field goal percentage, a team-high 7.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists. Against UCF, Littlepage-Buggs carded 24 points on 9-of-9 from the field and eight rebounds.

Wildcats Off to Fast Start
• Kansas State has opened the season with a 18-1 overall record.
• This is the best start for K-State in the Jeff Mittie era through the first 19 games and the best start for the Cats since 2008-09.
• In program history, K-State has opened a season 18-1 three times.

Wildcats Winning Streak
• K-State has pieced together one of the longest winning streaks in program history with its active 12-game winning streak.
• This is the longest winning streak in the Jeff Mittie era and is the fifth-longest in school history. 
• This is the 10th double-digit winning streak in school history and the longest since the 2008-09 season when the Wildcats carded a 14-game winning streak.
• K-State's winning streak is tied for the fourth-longest active winning streak in the nation.

K-State Among the Rankings
• Kansas State continued its stay in the Associated Press (AP) top-25 poll, as the Wildcats moved to 7th in the Jan. 15 poll.
• The Wildcats have achieved the program's highest ranking in the Jeff Mittie era (2014-present). It is the highest ranking for the program since the AP preseason poll for the 2003-04 season, when the Wildcats were ranked fifth.
• The Wildcats debuted at 16th on Nov. 20, which was the highest debut for K-State since being ranked fifth in the 2003-04 preseason poll.
• As an AP ranked team, K-State owns a 240-88 (.732) record. In its history, K-State has now been ranked for 183 weeks in the AP poll.
• The Wildcats are ranked 7th in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches Poll. This is the highest K-State has been ranked in the Coaches Poll since being ranked 5th in the preseason poll of the 2003-04 season.
• This season is the first time since the 2008-09 season that K-State has been ranked in eight straight USA Today/WBCA Coaches Polls.

K-State Against Ranked Opponents
• The Wildcats are 90-239 (.274) against teams ranked in the Associated Press (AP) poll including a 57-69 (.452) mark against AP ranked teams in Manhattan.
• The Wildcats are 3-1 in this season against AP top-25 opponents. This is the 16th time in program history that K-State has won three or more games against AP ranked foes in a season. The three wins are the most since the 2016-17 season when the Wildcats won four games against ranked opponents. 
• The Wildcats captured its second-ever win over an Associated Press number two ranked foe and first since the 1982-83 season by defeating then-second-ranked Iowa, 65-58, on Nov. 16, 2023 in Iowa City. K-State is 24-113 (.175) all-time in games against AP top-10 opponents.
• This was the highest ranked opponent K-State has defeated on the road.
• According to ESPN Stats & Info, K-State became the first NCAA Division I women's basketball program in the last 25 years to be unranked and defeat the same Associated Press top-5 team in consecutive seasons.
• According to Stats Perform, K-State is the sixth team to defeat an AP second-ranked team on the road since 1999-00.
• The wins over Iowa and 10th-ranked Texas marked the third and fourth top-10 wins for the Wildcats in three seasons, as K-State downed also fourth-ranked Iowa on Nov. 17, 2022, and 10th-ranked Baylor on Jan. 2, 2022.
• K-State is 18-62 (.225) against AP ranked opponents in head coach Jeff Mittie's 10 seasons.

Wildcats on the Road
• K-State has a 290-321 (.475) record in road games during the program's 56-year history. 
• Since the 2000-01 season, K-State owns a 130-142 (.478) mark in road contests. 
• In his career in games played on the road, head coach Jeff Mittie is 166-201 (.452) including a 41-64 (.390) mark during his time at K-State.
• This season, K-State is 4-0 in road games. The four-game road winning streak is K-State's longest since a four-game streak in the 2021-22 season.
• With its win at Little Rock on Nov. 11, 2023, K-State snapped an 11-game road losing streak. This was tied for the longest road losing streak in program history.
• With its win at then second-ranked Iowa on Nov. 16, 2023, K-State secured its highest ranked road win in program history and ended a 14-game road losing streak against ranked opponents.

Glow of Sundell
• Serena Sundell continues to fill up the stat sheet with her diverse skills and is approaching a rare career stat line.
• Sundell is the first player in program history with 1,000 or more career points, 400 or more career assists and 50 or more career blocked shots.
• In her career, Sundell owns 34 career games with 10 or more points and five or more assists.
• Against Kansas, Sundell registered a stat line of 15 points, seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and three blocks. She is the only player in the Big 12 this season to reach these numbers in a game and the first Wildcat since at least 2009-10 to achieve these stats in a single game.
• At the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, Sundell owned the most diverse stat line in the nation. She was the only player in the nation during the 2022-23 season with 500 or more points, 180 or more assists and 60 or more steals.
• Since 2009-10, she was one of two Wildcats (Kayla Goth, 2017-18) to achieve these marks in a single-season. In the same time frame, Sundell was one of three players in the Big 12 to achieve these marks in a single season (Goth; Danielle Robinson, Oklahoma, 2009-10).

Glenn Through the Lens
• Guard Brylee Glenn continues to provide diverse stat lines for the Wildcats. 
• This season, Glenn is averaging 6.1 points on a career-best .473 field goal percentage, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals. She has reached double figures in scoring in four games including a season-high 13 points against Kansas on Jan. 20.
• In the 2022-23 season, Glenn averaged 8.3 points on a .381 field goal percentage, 2.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals. She reached double figures in scoring in 17 games.
• Glenn ranked ninth in the Big 12 for steals per game.
• Against Texas Tech on Jan. 14, Glenn tallied a career-high 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting and tied her career-high with three connections from beyond the arc.
