Wildcats Trek to Nebraska Wednesday

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State makes the trip to Lincoln, Neb., Wednesday night to take on former conference rival Nebraska at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park, with first pitch set for 6:05 p.m.

Nebraska (27-14, 10-5 Big Ten) holds a 175-116 advantage over K-State in the all-time series, as the Huskers grabbed a 6-1 decision last season in Manhattan.

The Wildcats (26-17, 10-11 Big 12) will send right-hander Josh Wintroub (2-2) to the hill Wednesday.
