FROM THE HEAD COACH
K-State Head Coach Jeff Mittie
On the offensive production…
"We were super vanilla tonight. I mean, we did what we did, but we rebounded better, so we had more of an open floor than we had in the closed scrimmage, and that was a big key for us.

On different ballhandlers running the show…
"I think we've got some options there. We're still playing with some lineups. I'd like to get her (Taryn Sides) and Gina (Garcia) on the floor together more to move Taryn off the ball and Izela (Arenas) as well. But Taryn struggled early in this game, but, she really rebounded well in the first half, and did a lot of stuff."

On the freshmen…
"I like moments from them. I think they've been really talented. We got some things to learn but things went well tonight."
