- K-State (9-3, 1-3 Big 12) hits the road for a pair of Big 12 matchups, starting Friday at Iowa State (9-6, 3-1 Big 12) at the Hilton Coliseum at 6:30 p.m. CT.
- Following the match against the Cyclones, the Wildcats will head West to face No. 23 Colorado (11-3, 2-2 Big 12) Sunday at 2 p.m. at the CU Event Center.

- K-State moved to 9-3 overall and 1-3 in Big 12 play after dropping a pair of top-25 matchups against then-No. 18 BYU and No. 23 Utah last weekend.
- K-State enters the week 11th in the Big 12 standings.
- Massey led all players in both matches, totaling 36 on the week including a career-high 23 against BYU.
- She hit .316 on the week and was named to the Big 12 Starting Seven.
- With her 13 kills on Saturday, Massey turned in her eighth straight match with 10 or more kills, totaling a 10-kill performance in all but one match this season.

- Iowa State leads the all-time series, 57-49, with a 29-18 advantage in matches played in Ames.

- The Buffaloes moved up to No. 23 in the AVCA-Taraflex Poll, their seventh straight week in the top 25 this season.
- CU leads the Big 12 in blocks per set, averaging 2.92, converting to eighth in the NCAA.

- Senior setter Jenna Ylivainio reached 500 career assists in just 14 matches. She is the second-fastest to reach 500 in Colorado volleyball history.
- Sophomore pin attacker Ines Lodasa tied her career high aces against Baylor with five. She also recorded nine digs and three blocks.
- With the recent win against Baylor, Colorado moved to 9-0 when winning the first set.
- Pin attacker Ana Burilovic is currently ranked 24th in the country in kills per set, aver-aging 4.21.

- Colorado posts a 27-24 record in the all-time series, including a 15-10 edge in matches played in Boulder.

- She also finished third in the conference in total kills (36) and fourth in total points (37), while surpassing her career mark with a match-leading 23 kills against No. 18 BYU for her third 20-kill performance of the season.
- On Sept. 22, Massey and Cadence Lundgren each earned spots on the Big 12 Starting Seven for their strong performances in Week 4.
CATS VS. THE BIG 12
- K-State is off to a 1-3 start in Big 12 play, after dropping a pair of Top 25 matches against No. 18 BYU and No. 23 Utah.
- The Wildcats are 29-29 against Big 12 opponents in the Mansfield era.
- K-State tied sixth in the final Big 12 standings in 2025, with a league record of 10-8, finishing in a four-way tie with BYU, TCU, and Arizona, while ranking eighth overall.
