Earned Second Team All-America honors in the javelin with a 15^th place finish at the NCAA Championships (6/9/21) with a throw of 67.59m/221-09… He became just the seventh Wildcat to collect All-America accolades in the javelin and just the fourth since 1991… Earned his first trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a first-place finish in the javelin throw at the NCAA West Regional (5/26/21) with a toss of 72.40m/237-06… Won the school’s first-ever conference title in the javelin with a school-record throw of 73.08m/239-09 at the Big 12 Championship (5/14/21)… Placed first in two regular-season meets in the javelin, earning the title at the UTSA Invitational (3/18/21) with a toss of 70.92m/232-08 and the title at the John Jacobs Invitational (4/23/21) with a mark of 71.08m/233-02.

Qualified for the NCAA West Regional (5/23/19), where he went on to finish 45th with a top throw of 55.18m/181-00… Recorded a fourth-place finish in the javelin at the Big 12 Championship (5/10/19) with a throw of 58.95m/193-05... Competed in three other meets, including a second-place at the TCU Invitational (3/16/19) with a season-best toss of 63.42/208-01.

Qualified for the NCAA West Regional (5/24/18) in the javelin, where he finished 43^rd with a toss of 57.19m/187-07… Threw a season-best 64.83m/212-08 at the Big 12 Championship (5/11/18), where he went on to place fourth overall… Won the javelin title at the Kansas Relays (5/18/18) with a toss of 59.21m/194-03.

Competed for Minnesota as a true freshman in 2016-17… Threw the javelin in five regular-season meets… Posted a season-best throw in the javelin of 57.61m/189-0 to place third at the Cardinal Classic (4/21/17)… Finished fifth at the UCLA Legends Invitational (4/1/17) with a toss of 55.65m/182-07.

High School
Competed at Silver Lake High School in Silver Lake, Kan., where he lettered in football, basketball and track and field… One of the nation’s top high school javelin throwers as a senior with his personal-best record of 208-06.75 placing seventh nationally… 2016 Kansas Class 3A state champion in the discus (161-05) and javelin (198-03)… Ranks 11^th all-time in the state of Kansas for the javelin… Milesplit All-American in Javelin… AAU Junior Olympics runner-up in javelin in 2015 and 2016 as a member of the North East Kansas Track Club… Also threw the javelin at the New Balance Nationals.
