• 2021 Second Team Academic All-Big 12
CAREER: Was a regular member of the playing rotation as a junior in 2020 before seeing spot duty in 2021.
2021: Played in six games, including the TCU game when he had a tackle and a forced fumble... Also had a tackle in the Texas Bowl against LSU.
2020: A member of the regular playing rotation at defensive end for all 10 game who also slid to the interior during passing situations… Carded 14 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks during the year… Recorded sacks in consecutive games against Oklahoma and Texas Tech… Had a season-high two tackles on five occasions, including each of the final three games… Forced a fumble at West Virginia that was recovered by the Wildcats.
COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two years at Hutchinson under head coach Rion Rhoades... Rated the 33rd-best overall community-college prospect in the Class of 2020 by 247Sports, while he was ranked No. 38 by Rivals and No. 39 by ESPN...
