CAREER: Spent his final two collegiate seasons at K-State after transferring in from Nebraska... Played in 50 career games with 26 starts, including 27 games and 10 starts in Manhattan.
2022: Saw time in all 14 games with 10 starts, hauling in 46 catches for 456 yards and a team-leading five touchdown receptions as he set career highs in all three categories... Finished second on the team in catches and third in yards... Had at least one catch in 13 of 14 games this season... Registered at least four catches in six of the final seven games, including a career-high five against Oklahoma State and Texas, and in the Big 12 Championship against TCU and Sugar Bowl against Alabama... Had a career-high two touchdowns against Oklahoma State, including a 38-yard reception on fourth down to open the scoring in a 48-0 victory... Carded 97 yards against the Cowboys, a career best... Father, Kurt, was a quarterback for Northern Iowa from 1989 to 1993 as he was a teammate of K-State head coach Chris Klieman... Kurt went on to play 12 seasons in the NFL and led teams to three Super Bowls, including a victory in Super Bowl XXXIV following the 1999 season... Kurt was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2017, and his career was documented in the movie “American Underdog”... Working on his master’s degree in academic advising.
