Bramlage Coliseum A-Z

Accessible Seating

Seating for guests with disabilities are sold on a reserved-season and reserved-game basis. Accessible seating is located in Sections 3, 9, 12, 15, 17 and 22. If available, accessible seating may be purchased in advance through the Athletics Ticket Office and online at www.kstatesports.com. Fans needing ADA or special accommodations on the day of game may request a ticket exchange at the Northwest Ticket Booth beginning 1 hour prior to the game.

Alcohol

Policies pertaining to alcohol are in place so that all guests can enjoy the event in a safe and comfortable environment.

  • It is prohibited to bring alcohol into Bramlage Coliseum. Violators will be subject to ejection and applicable legal action.
  • State law requires that all persons consuming alcohol be at least 21 years of age.
  • Intoxicated or alcohol-impaired guests may be refused admission to Bramlage Coliseum.
  • A valid wristband must be worn at each time of purchase.
  • Only two (2) alcoholic beverages may be purchased at one time.
  • All alcohol sales will end with 15 minutes remaining in the second half of men’s games and with 5 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter of women’s games.

Bags

Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into the venue:

  • Bags that are clear (non-tinted) plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” (Official K-State team logo clear plastic tote bags will be available through Rally House locations).
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Small clutch bags, no larger than 5.5” x 7.5”, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags.
  • Items required for medical, family or childcare needs are permitted after inspection in a clear bag.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: non-clear (including tinted) bags such as backpacks, briefcases, camera bags, cinch bags, computer bags, diaper bags, tote bags, luggage, and coolers. Non-clear purses and non-clear fanny packs larger than a clutch, as well as non-approved seat cushions and chairbacks are also prohibited.

Banners and Signs

Banners and pep signs are allowed provided they are hand-held of reasonable size, can be stored beneath the seat and do not block the view of other patrons. Any banner or sign containing profanity or objectionable material will be confiscated.

Big 12 Terrace

The Big 12 Terrace, located on the north end of Bramlage Coliseum, features 16 reserved premium seats on the lower level and a public viewing terrace on the concourse level. Purchase of beer and wine is available in the Big 12 Terrace. Amenities in the reserved premium seating level includes a padded chairback seat, personal flat-panel television, and complimentary access into the Shamrock Zone.

Bottles and Cans

It is permissible for guests to bring into Bramlage Coliseum one bottled water, flavored water or sports drink, provided it is in a clear plastic commercial container (such as an Aquafina or Gatorade bottle) no larger than 1 liter that has not been opened or that is empty of its contents. Frozen bottles are prohibited. It is impermissible to bring in any other type of beverage into the stadium. Plastic baby bottles are permitted into the stadium if the infant is with the guest but are subject to inspection by security upon entering. (For additional information, see Containers and Coolers).

Captioning

Captioning of videoboard content and public address announcements is provided on the digital board above the basketball court. Assisted listening devices are also available for check-out at Fan Accommodations. Fans who do not have visibility to the captioning board may request relocation at the K-State Ticket Office.

Cashless Services

K-State Athletics has transitioned to entirely cashless payment systems throughout its venues. This includes the ticket office, concessions, parking, Rally House locations and other points of sale in our facilities. Fans can use traditional credit/debit card payment methods. Checks will not be accepted.

Concessions

Concessions are available on the concourse when the Coliseum doors open. No other food or drink may be brought into the arena.

Conduct/Ejection

In keeping with K-State’s pledge of the Best Fan Experience in the Big 12, fans are encouraged to treat visitors, players, coaches and officials with courtesy and respect. Abusive language or disorderly conduct is unacceptable and unwelcome in Bramlage Coliseum and may result in ejection. Anyone who interferes with the game by coming onto the court or by throwing objects will be ejected and possibly arrested. In addition, fans who choose to consume alcohol must do so in a legal and responsible manner. K-State Athletics reserves the right to eject any patron whose behavior is against policy, unruly or illegal in nature. Event tickets may be forfeited without refund. Revocation of season tickets or arrest is possible. Fans shall comply with requests from venue staff regarding coliseum policies and emergency procedures.

Costumes

Costumes are permitted, but masks or facial coverings must be removed during the security screening process, on the concourse and at all concession/retail locations. Masks or facial coverings may only be worn within the coliseum bowl in the ticketed seating area as long as they do not create a distraction for other fans. Costumes with sharp edges or tips, including metal or hard plastic costume accessories (i.e. artificial weapons) are not allowed. Additionally, costumes are subject to further security screening. K-State Athletics reserves the right to ask anyone to remove their mask or costume due to coliseum security measures.

Elevator Passes

Guests requiring access to court-level seating may utilize the service elevator located on the south concourse of the Coliseum. All patrons must receive an elevator pass from an Event Staff attendant to utilize the elevator.

Electronic Ticket Scanning

All tickets will be electronically scanned in order to verify authenticity. Tickets which have been logged in upon entry cannot be reused by another guest. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the K-State Athletics Ticket Office.

Exiting the Coliseum

Passout privileges are not permitted for events conducted in Bramlage Coliseum.

Fan Accommodations

Questions regarding security, lost children, lost and found, etc., should be directed to an Event Staff member or Fan Accommodations personnel located on the second level of the Shamrock Zone in the Athletics Administrative offices.

First Aid

Medical services are available at the First Aid station on the concourse near Section 3 on the southwest side of the Coliseum. In case of emergency, please contact an Event Staff attendant, supervisor or police officer.

Gates

Gates open one (1) hour prior to tipoff. Please note for events anticipated to have attendance of 5,000 or more, security screening is required to comply with Kansas law. Fans are encouraged to enter Bramlage Coliseum as early as possible. All persons ages 2 and older must present a ticket to enter Bramlage Coliseum.

Guest Text Alert System

Guests wishing to report an incident or needing assistance may text their request by entering the word catfan followed by their message and seat location to 83200. The request will be directed to the coliseum dispatcher who will direct the appropriate response and action to resolve the issue.

Loge Suites and Legends Lounge

Admission to the Premium Loge Suites is restricted to those with Loge or Legends Lounge tickets. For more information, contact the Ahearn Fund Office at 785-532-7715.

Lost and Found

Lost items can be claimed or turned in at the Athletics Operations offices on the second level of the Shamrock Zone. Patrons may call 785-532-7600 with any questions regarding lost-and-found items after an event.

Merchandise

Officially licensed K-State merchandise is available for purchase on the concourse behind Section 9, Section 17, or at the Rally House in the West Stadium Center. No other merchandise is permitted to be sold on the grounds of the K-State Sports Complex. Guests approached by someone selling merchandise are asked to report the person and location to a parking attendant, Event Staff attendant or police.

Metal Detectors

To comply with Kansas state law to prohibit the concealed carrying of weapons into Bramlage Coliseum, increased security measures have been implemented. Please note, metal detectors will be in use for events anticipated to have an attendance of 5,000 or more. Fans are encouraged to enter the arena as early as possible to avoid delays.

Nursing Mothers' Room

A nursing mothers’ area is available in the First Aid room on the west side of the concourse behind Section 3. Breast pumps and supplies are permitted in Bramlage Coliseum, as long as they are carried in a dedicated bag specifically for the pump, which will be searched and tagged as a medical bag, or in a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag measuring 12” x 6” x 12” or less. The bag, pump and supplies are subject to inspection. Plastic baby bottles are permitted into the coliseum if the infant is with the guest but are subject to inspection by security upon entering.

Parking

Parking at the K-State Sports Complex opens 2 hours prior to tipoff at Bramlage Coliseum. For men’s basketball games, there is reserved parking in both the east and west lots for members of the Ahearn Scholarship Fund, which requires a permit for access.

Game-day general admission parking is available for purchase in advance at kstatesports.com. For men’s basketball, general admission parking is available in lots E1, E3, and the west lot and costs $12 when purchased in advance. General admission parking purchased at the gates for men’s basketball costs $15 (credit only). General admission parking for women’s basketball costs $10 when purchased online in advance and is $12 at the gate (credit only).  All charter bus parking is $30. Paid parking for fans with disabilities is available on a first-come, first-served basis in lot E2 and the west lot. Guests must display a state-issued accessible license plate or hangtag and present a disability card along with a form of personal identification to access handicapped parking

Photography

Hand-held still cameras are permitted for personal use. Cameras with telescopic lenses and video cameras are prohibited. Use of any device with a flash is prohibited. Any commercial photography is prohibited. Event Staff members are authorized to evict guests violating these photography policies.

Programs

Souvenir game programs can be purchased at various locations on the concourse.

Prohibited Items

  • Alcoholic beverages or controlled substances
  • Cans, glass, bottles, ice chests, coolers, picnic baskets and insulated beverage containers (see Containers and Coolers)
  • Bags that do not meet the Clear Bag Policy – must be clear and less than 12” x 12” x 6” (see Bags and Bag Search)
  • Possession or use of firearms, explosives (including fireworks) or other weapons
  • Food and/or beverages (see Bottles/Cans)
  • Noisemakers and laser pointers
  • Portable seat cushions with cloth, rubber or plastic bottoms are permitted in Bramlage Coliseum provided they are no wider than 18-inches in width. Any cushion not meeting this standard must be returned to the patron’s vehicle or will be held for pickup until after the event.
  • Live animals (except Guide and Service Dogs)
  • Large flags, flagpoles and items obstructing sightlines
  • Oversized strollers
  • Resale of tickets (see Solicitation)
  • Banners, placards and leaflets not pre-approved by the Athletics Department
  • Throwing of any objects
  • Standing in aisles
  • Umbrellas

Shamrock Zone

Men’s Basketball season ticket holders who are Ahearn Fund members at the Champions Club Level or higher are eligible to purchase Shamrock Zone Access passes. This club open two hours prior to tipoff and will remain open through one hour after the game. A full-service cash bar and buffet will be available each game for separate purchase. Smoking

Kansas State University policy prohibits the smoking of cigarettes, cigars, pipes or burning tobacco in any other form or device, as well as the use of electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, hookah or other water pipe devices and all other related devices on university property, except inside personal vehicles.

Solicitation

University policy prohibits solicitations of any unauthorized item for sale, trade or giveaway on the grounds of the K-State Sports Complex. This includes solicitation of charitable donations and game or event tickets. Violators of this policy will be asked to leave the Coliseum grounds and may be cited for trespassing.

Tickets

General Information: All persons ages 2 and older must present a ticket to enter Bramlage Coliseum. Tickets, if available, may be purchased at the Athletics Ticket Office located at the Southwest Entrance prior to an event or at the satellite ticket booths located at the Northwest and Northeast gates. The Athletics Ticket Office is open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday and satellite ticket booths generally one (1) hour prior to an event unless otherwise specified. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the K-State Athletics Ticket Office.

Will Call: Pre-purchased general public tickets may be picked up at the Northwest satellite ticket booth beginning one (1) hour prior to an event. Only the person whose name is on the ticket order may pick up the tickets. A photo ID is required for all will-call orders.

Player-Guests: The will-call windows for player-guest tickets for both K-State and the visiting team are located at the Northwest satellite ticket booth. Each person for whom an admission ticket has been left must be present and display a photo ID to receive a ticket. Ticket windows generally open one (1) hour prior to an event unless otherwise specified.

Lost/Misplaced Tickets: For lost or misplaced season tickets, the Athletics Ticket Office may re-issue tickets to the ticket-holder of record only. A service fee is charged for each replacement ticket. For season tickets that have been lost in the mail or stolen, contact the Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-221-CATS for replacement information.

Water Fountains

Water fountains are located throughout the concourses of Bramlage Coliseum on the concourse behind Sections 4, 8, 18, 21.
