Named Academic All-Big 12 First Team and received the Dr. Lage Academic Achievement Award from the Big 12, the league's most prestigious academic honor ... Made 17 appearances (three starts) in his senior season, going 2-2 with an ERA of 5.67 (25 ER, 39.2 IP) with 28 strikeouts and 19 walks ... Posted season highs in innings pitched (5/2/3) and strikeouts (5) in a relief outing on May 11 against Kansas ... Three of final four outings were all weekend starts, earning a victory on May 17 at San Francisco after going five innings and allowing two earned runs ... Twenty of his 28 strikeouts came over final six outings (24 innings), including four or more strikeouts four times ... In Big 12 play, went 0-2 with a 6.23 ERA (15 ER, 21.2 IP) and 13 strikeouts in seven appearances (two starts).

JUNIOR (2017)

Started three games with 12 relief appearances during his junior season and first with K-State ... Posted a 1-2 record with a 5.54 ERA, allowing 16 earned runs over 26 innings pitched ... Recorded 17 strikeouts and yielded eight walks while holding opponents to a .269 batting average ... In first career outing, struck out four Pittsburgh batters over two innings and later matched that season-high strikeout total in his first career start at Oklahoma State (3 innings) ... Two different four-game stretches in which he did not allow an earned run (March 21-April 2; April 23-May 2) ... Did not surrender an earned run in nine of 15 appearances ... Earned first career win in final game of season in 6-5 victory at Baylor on May 19 ... Pitched in eight Big 12 games, throwing 15 1/3 innings with 15 earned runs and eight strikeouts with six walks.

SAN JACINTO COLLEGE (2015-16)

In 18 relief appearances in 2016, posted a 4-0 record with two saves, a 1.52 ERA, 34 strikeouts in 29 2/3 innings pitched ... In his 2015 freshman season, recorded a 0.69 ERA in 39 innings with 37 strikeouts and a 2-2 record with four saves ... Did not allow an earned run in 16 of 18 appearances.
