Made seven relief appearances in 2022 … Went 1-0 with a 12.10 ERA (13 ER, 9.2 IP) and 12 strikeouts and 15 walks … Struck out three in 1 2/3 innings in season debut against Michigan on February 19 … Set season highs in innings (3.2) and strikeouts (4) in earning the win against Northern Colorado on March 30, not allowing a run and scattering two hits … Tossed two scoreless and hitless innings at Omaha on March 15, striking out three … Did not give up a hit or a run in an inning against UC Irvine on April 23 … Did not record an out in his last appearance, walking five and being charged with six earned runs at Oklahoma on April 30 … Made two relief appearances during Big 12 play with no record and an ERA of 99.00 (10 ER, 0.0 IP) with seven walks.

MCLENNAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE (2020-21)
Played two seasons at McLennan Community College, helping McLennan win the 2021 NJCAA  Division I National title - its first since 1983 ... Wideman went 1-1 with eight saves in 26 appearances, posting a 2.05 ERA with 31 strikeouts against just three walks in 2021 ... As a redshirt freshman, made three relief appearances during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season ... Posted a 1-0 record and struck out seven over 3 1/3 innings with a 5.40 ERA ...
