A veteran defensive back who saw playing time increase throughout 2011, starting the final two games of his junior campaign before starting every game in 2012… Tied for fourth in school history with four career interception-return touchdowns.

2012 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Started every game at cornerback, finishing the regular season tied for fifth in the Big 12 with four interceptions, while he tied for second in league-only games… Made five tackles against Missouri State… Tied his career best with 11 stops against North Texas, while he carded the first two tackles for loss of his career… Had six tackles against both Oklahoma and Kansas, including the latter when he picked off his second career pass… Notched five solo tackles and two pass break-ups against Texas Tech… Had his best game against Oklahoma State when he earned Walter Camp, Nagurski and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honors after picking off three passes, including one he returned 29 yards for a touchdown... His three picks were the second-most in school history and the most since Chris Canty had three against Akron in 1995… Backed that up with seven stops against TCU… Had four tackles and returned another interception 35 yards that set up a score against Texas.

Best game was at No. 3 Oklahoma State in which he made five tackles and returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown, the longest by a Wildcat since 2006... Led the team with a career-high 11 tackles against Oklahoma... Carded six stops against Oklahoma, while he registered seven tackles and three pass breakups against Texas A&M... Forced a fumble and made two tackles at Texas... Registered four tackles against Iowa State and five against Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Recorded five interceptions with one returned for a touchdown as a freshman before carding five interceptions and returning one for a touchdown in 2010... Collected 39 total tackles (26 solo, 13 assisted) and one tackle for a loss... Had one sack, two fumble recoveries, one of which was returned for a 40-yard touchdown, and 12 pass breakups... Teammate of fellow Wildcat Nigel Malone... Led City College to a 12-1 record in 2010 with a win in the NorCal Championship game, the 11th in school history... Fell to Mt. San Antonio Community College and fellow Wildcat Vai Lutui in the state championship game.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 First Team All-BVAL Mt. Hamilton Division selection at Oak Grove High School... Named the 2008 Most Valuable Defensive Back... Also earned 2007 First Team All-BVAL Mt. Hamilton Division and 2007 All CCS Honorable Mention honors... Had three interceptions with four pass deflections and one forced fumble... Recorded 34 tackles (23 solo, 11 assisted)... Rushed for 332 yards and eight touchdowns during his senior campaign.
