CAREER: A big defensive lineman who was an effective run-stopper in the middle of the defensive front during his senior year.

2012 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Started every game as a senior…  Carded two tackles against Miami, including his first-career sack, and forced a fumble… Made one stop in each contest against Missouri State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Oklahoma State… Carded a career best four tackles against Iowa State… Turned in two tackles at TCU, while he had three tackles at Baylor.

2011 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Appeared in four games and totaled four tackles... Had two stops against Kent State and two against Kansas.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Allan Hancock College for head coach Kris Dutra... Collected 62 tackles in 2010, including 10.5 for loss and 7.5 sacks, en route to first team all-conference honors... Also forced three fumbles and recovered another... Helped the Bulldogs earn a trip to the California state playoffs as a freshman in 2009, carding 36 tackles, including 4.5 for loss and 3.0 sacks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at St. Joseph High School under head coach Mike Hartman... Helped team to a league championship and a 9-1 record in 2008, earning all-area, all-county and all-state accolades.

PERSONAL: John M Sua was born December 18, 1990, in Santa Maria, Calif... Son of Tom and Lani Sua... Has three siblings, Thomas, Veronica and Matthew... A criminology major.
