CAREER: Enters his junior season ranked sixth in school history with a 27.8-yard career average on 20 kickoff returns.
2025: Played in eight games as he served as K-State’s primary kickoff returner, averaging 29.0 yards on 16 kickoff returns, which included a 99-yard touchdown against Army… Finished the season ranked eighth in school history in average… His 99-yard return against the Black Nights was the Wildcats’ 12th kickoff return of at least 99 yards and longest since 2021 when Malik Knowles returned a kickoff 99 yards at Oklahoma State… Had 143 kickoff return yards against Army, which came a week after totaling 130 return yards with a long of 36 yards against North Dakota.
2024: Served as the primary kick returner against Cincinnati and Rutgers – the latter being the Rate Bowl – as he retained his redshirt… Tallied two returns in each game, going for 48 yards with a long of 25 against the Bearcats and 43 total yards with a long of 24 against the Scarlet Knights.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Olathe South under head coach Ron Litchfield... Played quarterback as a prep, recording 6,196 total yards and 83 touchdowns as a passer and rusher over his three-year career... Selected to the Top 11 team by the Kansas Football Coaches Association (KFBCA) as a senior in 2023 in addition to being the league’s offensive player of the year, a first team all-state selection by the KFBCA and Sports in Kansas, while he was an honorable mention pick by the Wichita Eagle... Honored as a first team all-state punter by the Wichita Eagle... Also an honorable mention pick as a junior from Sports in Kansas and the Wichita Eagle... Threw for 1,173 yards and 11 touchdowns while rushing for 1,520 yards and 31 touchdowns as a senior... That came on the heels of his junior season in which he threw for 1,491 yards and 17 touchdowns while rushing for 885 yards and 14 more scores... Prepped at the same high school as current Wildcat defensive end Jordan Allen... Also competed in track and field.
PERSONAL: Bryce Noernberg (pronounced NOR-en-berg) was born August 6, 2005... Son of Scott Noernberg and Michelle Noernberg... Has two siblings, Brady and Jake... Majoring in business administration.
