experienced player who transitioned from running back to an All-Big 12
linebacker... Started multiple games at linebacker during his senior
campaign.

Came away with three tackles against both Missouri State and Miami
before recording six stops against North Texas… Carded three tackles and
recovered a fumble for K-State’s first touchdown of the game at
Oklahoma… Made five stops against Kansas, including his first career
sack… Led team with nine tackles against Texas Tech, including one for a
loss... Also recovered a fumble and returned it 56 yards… Made eight
stops against Oklahoma State, including 1.5 for loss and a half sack…
Tied for team-high honors with seven stops at TCU, including one sack…
Made a season-high 10 tackles at Baylor, while he came away with seven
solo stops against Texas.

games, starting seven... Had a three-game stretch of 31 total tackles

than his previous five games combined (14)... Came back with 12 tackles
at Baylor and four vs. the Cowboys... Had four stops, one TFL?and a
forced fumble at Colorado... Also totaled four stops in his first career
start against UCLA, while collecting three tackles against Missouri
State and Iowa State.

the state by Scout.com while prepping at Oak Park High School... First
team all-district by the Kansas City Star at defensive back... Named
second team all-state at defensive back by the Missouri Football Coaches
Association... Also named to the PrepStar All-Region team... Rushed for
1,580 yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior... Selected to play in the
Missouri vs. Kansas All-Star Game... Was a standout performer at the
2007 Kansas City Nike Combine, finishing first among running backs and
10th overall in the bench press (26 reps)... One of the leading rushers
in Kansas City in 2006, Childs had 1,333 yards and also had 38 tackles
