strong pass rusher that was one of the defensive leaders since his
arrival in 2011... Finished the regular season of his senior year with
16.5 sacks to rank ninth in K-State history...

coaches, while he was named a First Team All-Big 12 performer by the
coaches, Associated Press, ESPN.com, San Antonio Express-News and Phil
Steele... Also an All-Big 12 player by CBSSports.com and was named to
the watch list for the Ted Hendricks Award... Entered the bowl season as
the Big 12 leader in sacks with 9.5, a mark that also ranked eighth in
school history... Also tied for third in the conference with 13.5
tackles for loss... A Midseason All-Big 12 pick by Phil Steele…
Registered two tackles against Miami… Came away with four tackles
against North Texas, including two for loss and one sack… Carded five
tackles against Kansas, including a pair of sacks… Made two stops and
batted down a pair of passes at Iowa State… Made five tackles at West
Virginia, including a career high 2.5 sacks, the most in the Big 12
during the regular season… Registered two tackles, a sack and a forced

honorable mention selection by the Associated Press... Recorded 28
tackles, including 10 for loss and seven sacks to go along with a forced
fumble and a recovery... Tied for sixth in the Big 12 in sacks, while
his total was the most by a Wildcat in three years... Began his career
against Eastern Kentucky by making three tackles, including two TFLs and
one sack... Also carded an 11-yard sack as part of a four-tackle game
against Kent State... Registered a nine-yard sack against No. 15
Baylor... Carded two tackles, including a sack in which he forced and
recovered a fumble at Texas Tech... Tied his career high with four
tackles, including two TFLs and two sacks, at Kansas... Also recorded
four tackles at Texas and three against Iowa State with his seventh sack
of the season.

All-Conference/All-Region Second Team in 2009... Named to PrepStar
magazine's All-Midlands Region team... Played in 12 games in 2010,
recording 44 tackles (18 solo, 26 assisted) as well as 17.0 tackles for a
loss of 105 yards... Also had eight sacks... Had one pass breakup, one
pass deflection and hit the quarterback 20 times... Forced three
fumbles, recovered two, one of which went 21 yards for a touchdown.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered
three years for the Worth County Rams at defensive end and tight end,
advancing to the Georgia state playoffs his sophomore and junior
seasons... Collected 70 tackles to go along with 14 sacks as a junior,
while he tallied 83 tackles and a school-record 23 sacks as a senior...
Was a Super 6 selection by the Albany Herald... Also earned all-region
honors as a sophomore, junior and senior... Selected to play in the
Georgia High School All Star Game.
