CAREER: Saw action in 31 career games, primarily on special teams before earning starts as a linebacker in 2021... Originally entered the program as a quarterback, moved to safety before the 2020 season and then to linebacker toward the end of 2020.
2021: Played in all 13 games with starts in four of the first five contests... Was also a mainstay on special teams, leading the team with two tackles on punt coverage... Had a season-high four tackles on three occasions, coming against Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Baylor... Earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.
2020: Played in eight games as he began the season at safety prior to transitioning to linebacker... Totaled eight tackles on the year, including a career-high five in the season opener against Arkansas State... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer.
2019: Played in seven games, primarily on special teams… A First Team Academic All-Big 12 honoree.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years at Junction City under head coach Randall Zimmerman... Named the 2016 Centennial League Offensive Player of the Year, while he was an all-state honoree by the Topeka Capital-Journal, Wichita Eagle and KPreps.com... Totaled over 4,500 career total yards, including his senior campaign when he threw for 1,783 yards and rushed for 1,012 yards.
