As a Sophomore (2016-17): Participated in three events ending the year with a 75.33 stroke average… Posted his low 18-hole (69) and low 54-hole (223) score at the Badger Invitational… Secured a top-20 finish in the USA Individual Tournament with a 229 (+16), where he finished 19th.
As a Freshman (2015-16): Competed in seven events during his freshman season, including all six team events for the Wildcats in the spring, holding the team’s third best stroke average at 73.68… Posted his low 36-hole (144) and low 54-hole (215) scores of the year at the Desert Shootout, with his low 18 (70) coming at the Bill Ross… Secured his first top-five finish at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate, where he tied for fourth place at 2-under par 216… Recorded another top-20 finish at the Big 12 Championship, where he finished in a tie for 16th place at 7-over par 295.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Washburn under head coach Jared Goehring… The 2013 Kansas 6A State Champion and three-time individual city champion… Set the school record low average… Helped continue Washburn Rural's golf team Centennial League championships to seven-straight years… Won the 2014 Kansas Junior Sectional Championship with scores of 66 and 68… Took fourth in the 2013 AJGA Payne Stewart Junior, while he tied for seventh in the 2014 High Plains Amateur and finished second in the 2014 AJGA Under Armour Championship… A four-year honor roll student.
