AS A FRESHMAN (2024-25)
OUTDOOR
- Recorded his pole vault personal best at the Oregon Open (4/18/25) in 6th place at 4.76m and also ran his fastest 110m hurdles in 15.53 seconds. At the Oregon Team Invite (4/19/25) he competed in two more events, the high jump at 1.81m and the long jump with a distance of 6.57m.
- Competed in two events at the KT Woodman Classic (4/11-12/25) in the 110m hurdles in 15.86 seconds and finished 6th in the pole vault invite at 4.57m.
- Starting the season in his first collegiate decathlon at the Emporia State Relays (3/27-28/25) he finished 9th with 4,950 points. His top performance events included personal bests in the long jump (2nd; 7.03m) and shot put (4th; 11.16m) and competing in the discus throw (3rd; 31.46m) and 400m dash (4th; 51.87) for the first time.
- During the Big 12 Championship (2/28-3/1/25) he competed in the heptathlon with a new personal best score of 5,157 points in 12th place. His best performances included the long jump (8th; 6.91m) and in the pole vault (10th; 4.71m).
- At the Steve Miller Invite (2/7/25) he raced in the 60m hurdles preliminary in 8.73 seconds.
- Competed in his first heptathlon at the DeLoss Dodds Invite (1/31-2/1/25) where he took 3rd place with 5,127 points. His best performances came from the 1,000 meters (2nd; 2:47.25), long jump (3rd; 6.86m), high jump (3rd; 1.89m) and tied for 3rd in the pole vault (4.50m).
