Former captain and four-year letterwinner, Noelle Dykmann is in her third season as an assistant coach at Kansas State, after Dykmann concluded an illustrius rowing career as a Wildcat.
Dykmann has made an immediate impact on the K-State Rowing program, serving in a recruiting role for the Wildcats. On the water, Dykmann has helped the Wildcats to two-consecutive victories in the Sunflower Showdown and three-straight top-three finishes at the Big 12 Championship.
Dykmann won four gold medals at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships (SIRAs), while also recording three top-three finishes at the Big 12 Championship races. She was also named Big 12 Newcomer of the Year after the 2014 racing season. Her career ended on a high note as she was named to the All-Big 12 Rowing Team.
Outside of her athletic performances, the native of Lenexa, Kansas, was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Academic First Team all four years and was a member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s honor roll all eight times. She is also an active member in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
“I am excited for this opportunity because when I was going through the program, the coaches had a huge impact on me,” Dykmann said about why she accepted the position. “The program had a huge impact on my life and I want to give back to the program that built me into the person that I am today.”
