Kelsi Mahoney is in her first season serving as the Director of Soccer and Tennis Operations.
Within her new role as the Director of Women’s Soccer and Tennis Operations, Mahoney is responsible for coordination of staff and team travel, money and budget management, organization of official and unofficial recruiting visits, facility and officials reservations and team equipment purchases.
Prior to joining K-State, Mahoney served aided the NCAA as a member of the Seasonal Operations team with women’s basketball. Mahoney aided the NCAA in the coordination and operation of the 2021 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship in San Antonio across six different venues.
After her graduation from George Washington in 2019, Mahoney was a post-graduate intern with the NCAA in women’s basketball from 2019 to May of 2020. She was able to gain experience with all three levels of NCAA women’s basketball and expanded the NCAA Women’s Basketball Ambassador Program.
Mahoney, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, graduated from GWU with a degree in business administration with a focus on marketing and sport, event and hospitality management. She also minored in political science.
During her time at GWU, Mahoney was a four-year letterwinner in women’s basketball from 2015 to 2019. While playing for the Colonials, Mahoney saw action in 96 career games with 55 starts and carding 6.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
