Wildcats Open Home Slate with Missouri State Tuesday

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State volleyball is set to begin its 2018 home schedule as the Wildcats welcome the Missouri State Bears to Ahearn Field House for a 6 p.m. start Tuesday night.
K-State (4-1), who won two of three matches at the Marcia E. Hamilton Classic in St. Louis over the weekend, has won the last seven meetings in the series with Missouri State (3-3) and eight of the last 10 matchups overall. MSU has won three straight matches after beginning the season 0-3.
The match with the Bears will air worldwide on K-StateHD.TV and FOX College Sports Pacific with Brian Smoller and former Wildcat Liz Wegner-Busch on the call. Fans can also listen to Rob Voelker call the action on News Radio KMAN (93.3 FM, 1350 AM) with live, free audio available at K-StateSports.com/watch. The match is also available on the K-State Sports Roku app and Apple TV.
The Wildcats will remain at home with the K-State Invitational scheduled to begin Friday, September 7 at Ahearn Field House. The Cats will meet North Texas (12 p.m.) and Oregon State (7:30 p.m.) Friday before finishing the weekend with Omaha on Saturday at 6 p.m.

- K-State completed its second weekend of the regular season by going 2-1 at the Marcia E. Hamilton Classic hosted by Saint Louis.
- The Wildcats rebounded from their first loss of the season vs. Marquette by sweeping a Saturday doubleheader with SLU and Western Kentucky.
- Junior middle blocker Elle Sandbothe and redshirt senior Kylee Zumach were named to the all-tournament team for their performances.
