MANHATTAN, Kansas - Kansas State returns to the road this weekend, as the Wildcats travel to Lubbock, Texas, to face Texas Tech on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. K-State has won six straight in the series with the Lady Raiders.

• Saturday's game will be aired on FOX Sports Southwest, as Chuck Heinz (play-by-play), Jesus Arenas (analyst) and Taylor Peters (sideline) will have the call.
• K-State (11-6, 2-3 Big 12) faced its sixth Associated Press top-25 opponent of the season and picked up an 87-69 win over (11/11) Texas on Wednesday. K-State has now defeated an AP top-25 team in 13 straight seasons.
• The Wildcats never trailed against the Longhorns, building a lead as large as 22. The 87 points scored by K-State were a season-high and marked the most scored by K-State in the series with Texas.
• Kansas State was led by senior guard Kayla Goth and junior forward Peyton Williams.
• A 2019 Nancy Lieberman Award candidate, Goth tallied her third double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 assists. The 12 assists tied her career-high, which is the sixth-most in program history for a single game, and were the most in a Big 12 game this season.
• Goth leads the Big 12 in total assists and assists per game (109; 6.4 apg). She leads the team in steals (28; 1.8 spg) and is second on the team in scoring (12.4 ppg).
• Williams, a 2019 Katrina McClain Award candidate, registered 18 points including a school record tying 11 in the first quarter. She also pulled in eight rebounds.
• For the season, the product of Topeka, Kansas, is among the Big 12 statistical leaders in nine categories and leads the team in scoring (15.1 ppg), rebounds (9.7 rpg), field goal percentage (.558) and free throw percentage (.825).

• Texas Tech is guided on the sideline by first year head coach Marlene Stollings. The 1998 graduate of Ohio owns a record of 143-95 (.601) in eight seasons as a head coach which includes stops at Winthrop, VCU and Minnesota.
• The Lady Raiders are led by Chrislyn Carr and Brittany Brewer.
• Carr, a freshman guard from Davenport, Iowa, is second in the Big 12 in scoring at 19.9 points per game and is tied for the team lead with 3.9 assists. Carr, a four-time Big 12 Freshman of the Week recipient, tallied 19 points, seven assists and five rebounds at TCU.
• Brewer, a junior forward from Abilene, Texas, is second in the Big 12 in rebounding with 10.2 per game and paces the league in blocks with 2.5 per game. She is second on the Lady Raiders with 17.4 points per game. At TCU, Brewer carded a game-high 27 points and 11 rebounds which was her league-best ninth double-double of the season..

Wildcats on the Road
• K-State has a 267-289 (.480) record in road games during the program's 51-year history.
• Since the 2000-01 season, K-State owns an 107-109 (.495) mark in road contests.
• In his career in games played on the road, head coach Jeff Mittie is 143-167 (.461) including an 18-30 (.375) mark during his time at K-State.

Wildcats' Defense Forges Identity
• K-State has continued to be a force on the defensive end during head coach Jeff Mittie's five seasons on the bench.
• In the 2018-19 season, the Wildcats have a scoring defense of 61.1 points per game allowed. The Wildcats are 77th in the nation in field goal percentage at .372 allowed.
• For the first time in the Mittie era and the first time since the 2011-12 season, Kansas State held its first two opponents of a season to 49 points or less. The Wildcats held Omaha to 46 points, then kept North Texas to 42 points.
• The 42 points allowed to North Texas were the fewest surrendered by K-State since allowing 42 to Princeton on Dec. 18, 2016.
• During the last 17 seasons, K-State is 109-3 (.973) when holding an opponent to 49 points or less.

• Since the 2001-02 season, K-State is 195-22 (.899) when scoring 70 or more points in a game including a 43-8 (.843) record in the Jeff Mittie era.
• The Wildcats registered a season-high 87 points against Texas on January 16. K-State has scored 70 or more points in a game seven times this season (7-0).
• K-State scored 70 or more points in a game 16 times in 2017-18 (13-3) including a high of 99 against Chicago State on Dec. 18.  
• The 2017-18 season was the 18th season in program history in which K-State had 15 or more games with 70 or more points scored. The 2017-18 season is the first since the 2005-06 season (17) that K-State scored 70 or more points in 15 or more games.

Wildcats Solid From Beyond the Arc
• Kansas State has registered a season-high 11 connections from beyond the arc three times this season: against Vanderbilt on December 2, against Oklahoma on January 5 and against Texas on January 16.
• In the Jeff Mittie era, the Wildcats have made five or more 3-pointers in a game 108 times in 150 total games including 16 games with 10 or more connections from deep (14-2).
• In the five seasons under Mittie, K-State has buried 910 three-pointers which is 6.1 per game.
• K-State has made at least one 3-point field goal in 391 consecutive games, dating back to Feb. 7, 2007.
• In the 2017-18 season, K-State shot .308 percent from 3-point range (225-of-731) which included 6.6 made 3-point field goals per game. Kansas State scored 29.2 percent (675 points; 0.92 points/attempt) of its points from beyond the arc. K-State ranked fifth in the Big 12 in 3-point field goals made per game.
