STILLWATER, Okla.?– Maria Linares' straight-set win over 117th-ranked Lisa Marie Rioux highlighted No. 33 K-State's 6-1 defeat at No. 11 Oklahoma State Sunday afternoon at Greenwood Tennis Center.
"Today was a better start to the doubles," head coach Jordan Smith said. "We had to make some changes after Friday, and it showed today. We fought hard in singles but weren't able to do enough to disrupt their rhythm. A lot of credit goes to Oklahoma State and how well they played from beginning to end. I believe there's a lot to learn from this weekend, especially on how to make adjustments on the court during matches."
