Head coach Suzie Fritz on the Maryland match…
"Maryland is a good, experienced volleyball team. They play physically at the net and we anticipated that it would be a challenging match for us."
On the day as a whole…
"There were times that, I thought, we played as well as we have thus far in the preseason. Our defensive effort was outstanding. I think this team is just beginning to scratch the surface of the team they will become this season. We will develop greater consistence as the season progresses and win the close ones. We're learning as we go right now."
