K-State Faces Wayne State in Home Finale

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Following a four-set win over No. 24 Creighton last Saturday, K-State will take on Wayne State (Neb.) in its home finale on Sunday, with first serve slated for 1 p.m. at Bramlage Coliseum.
K-State's (12-7, 10-6 Big 12) victory over Creighton was the Wildcats' first over a ranked opponent since the 2018 season. Sunday's match against Wayne State (0-0) will mark the final home match of the season, as the Cats will finish the 2020-21 regular season at No. 6 Baylor on Wednesday, March 31.
In Saturday's win over the Bluejays, freshman Aliyah Carter turned in 26 kills at a .449 clip – each just shy of her career-best marks. Carter took home her second straight Big 12 Rookie of the Week honor and fourth of the season while also being named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week.
During the fall portion of schedule, the Wildcats reached a ranking as high as No. 10 and look to boost their postseason resume ahead of the 48-team tournament field to be announced April 4. The entire NCAA Volleyball Championship will be held at CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, from April 13-24.
Sunday's match will be free for fans to attend, with a capacity limitation of 15 percent at Bramlage Coliseum. The match will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ and the ESPN app. Fans can also listen free, live audio as Rob Voelker will call the match at K-StateSports.com/watch.
