MANHATTAN, Kansas - One of the longest continuous rivalries in all of women's college basketball is set for the 129th all-time meeting, as K-State (15-12, 4-10 Big 12) hosts Kansas (16-9, 6-8) in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

1. Gregory Surpasses 500-Point Mark
• Senior Gabby Gregory became the first player in the Big 12 this season to reach the 500-point mark, as she has scored a career-high 513 points. She is the fifth Wildcat to register 500 or more points in a season since 2014-15.
2. 200 From the Arc
• K-State has made 200 or more 3-point field goals (207) for the third time in the Jeff Mittie era (2015-16 & 2017-18) and the 12th time in program history.
3. K-State Ahead of Charity Record
• The Wildcats are shooting 78.4 percent from the free throw line this season. This would surpass the school record for free throw percentage in a season, which was set last season at 76.2 percent.
4. Sundell Dishes 
• Sophomore guard Serena Sundell has handed out 313 assists in her career, which ranks 14th in program history. She needs 10 assists to move into 13th.
5. Quick Handed Sisters
• The sophomore sister duo of Brylee and Jaelyn Glenn have combined for 112 steals (Jaelyn - 64; Brylee - 48). Jaelyn leads the Big 12 in total steals, while Brylee is fifth. The pair have combined for the most steals among two teammates in the Big 12 this season.

• K-State sophomore guard Jaelyn Glenn has registered her first season with 300 or more points, 150 or more rebounds and 60 or more steals.
• Glenn is the only player in the Big 12 to reach these marks this season and one of just nine players nationally to do so.
• Glenn is the 10th Wildcat (14th time) in program history to reach these statistical markers in a season.

• Kansas (16-9, 6-8 Big 12) enters Wednesday's Dillons Sunflower Showdown following a home loss, 86-80, on Sunday against (15/12) Oklahoma. Kansas has lost four of its last six games.
• On the sideline, Kansas is led by eighth-year head coach Brandon Schneider. Schneider is 98-134 (.422) in his time in Lawrence. He guided the program to the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
• The Jayhawks feature four players in double figures this season, led by seniors Taiyanna Jackson, Zakiyah Franklin and Holly Kersgieter.
• Jackson paces Kansas in scoring (15.9 ppg), rebounding (12.2 rpg), blocked shots (2.9 bpg) and field goal percentage (.680). Against Oklahoma, Jackson tallied a double-double with 19 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks.
• Franklin is second on the team in scoring with 15.6 points per game and paces the squad in assists with 3.4. Against the Sooners, Franklin led the Jayhawks with 30 points on 11-of-17 shooting and six assists.
• Kersgeiter is averaging 14.4 points per game. She leads the team in three-point field goals made with 50. Against Oklahoma, Kersgeiter carded 24 points and five rebounds.

Wildcats With 375+ Wins in Bramlage
• K-State is 377-153 (.711) all-time inside Bramlage Coliseum, which is in its 35th season of existence.
• The Wildcats own a 12-3 record at home this season and tied the longest home-court winning streak in the Jeff Mittie era to open the season with nine wins.
• This is the 32nd time in program history that the Wildcats reached double figures in home victories. It marked the 24th season K-State has won 10 or more games in Bramlage.
• Over the last two seasons, K-State is 26-6 in home contests. The 26 wins are the third-most in the Mittie era over a two-season span.
• In the 2021-22 season K-State finished with a 14-3 (.824) mark at home. The 14 home wins were the most since the 2016-17 season (14-4). The winning percentage of .824 was the highest since the 2010-11 season (.867; 13-2).
• In his career in games played in his home venue, Mittie is 380-110 (.776) including an 106-45 (.702) record at K-State.
• Kansas State has protected Bramlage Coliseum with determination against non-conference foes with a record of 219-29 (.883) with an active 19-game winning streak against non-con opponents. Mittie is 65-8 (.890) in non-conference games in Bramlage Coliseum.

• Kansas State continues to earn trips to the free throw line, which is a trend during head coach Jeff Mittie's time at K-State.
• The Wildcats are shooting 78.4 percent (450-of-574) from the foul line this season. 
• K-State leads the Big 12 and ranks fourth in the nation in free throws made. K-State has recorded 23.3 percent of its points this season from the foul line, which ranks 13th in the nation and first among Power 5 programs.
• Kansas State ranks second in the Big 12 and is 12th in the nation for free throw percentage. The Wildcats average 16.7 free throws made per game on 21.3 attempts.
• According to HerHoopStats, K-State ranks third in the nation and leads the Big 12 in free throw rate at 23.5 percent (percentage of two-point field goal attempts that result in a free throw).
• This is the second season under Mittie in which K-State made 450 or more free throws in a season with a high of 462 in the 2016-17 season.
• K-State has shot 80.0 percent or better from the line 12 times this season (8-4), including a high of 94.7 percent (18-of-19) against South Dakota State on Dec. 10.
• The Wildcats have made 20 or more free throws in a game seven times this season (5-2).
• Against Northern Arizona on Nov. 25, the Wildcats made a season-high 28 free throws and attempted 39 freebies. The 39 attempts were the most in the Mittie era and the most since K-State attempted 41 against Colorado on Jan. 13, 1990. 
• The 28 made fouls shots were the most since K-State made 29 against TCU on March 1, 2021. 
Gabby Gregory (134) and Serena Sundell (119) have each made 100 free throws this season. They are the first K-State teammates to make 100 or more free throws in a season since Peyton Williams (115) and Kayla Goth (109) in the 2018-19 season.
• Last season, K-State shot 420-of-551 (.762) from the foul line. K-State is receiving 19.3 percent of its point total from the charity stripe.
• K-State's free throw percentage of 76.2 percent established a school record for team free throw percentage in a single-season.

Glenn Reaches Rare Lines
Jaelyn Glenn continues to provide unique stat lines for K-State.
• For the season, Glenn's diverse stat line includes averaging 11.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.37 steals and 2.1 assists. 
• Glenn is the only player in the Big 12 currently averaging 11 or more points, five or more rebounds, two or more assists and two or more steals.
• Glenn ranks second in the Big 12 in steals per game. She leads the Big 12 and is 33rd in the nation, third among Power 5 conferences, for total steals (64).
• Glenn has established career season-highs for points (316), field goals made and attempted (117-of-276), 3-point field goals made (55), free throws made and attempted (27-of-42), steals (64) and blocked shots (10).
• She is the only player in the Big 12 with 300 or more points, 150 or more rebounds and 60 or more steals this season and one of just nine players nationally.
• Glenn is the 10th Wildcat (14th time) in program history to reach 300 or more points, 150 or more rebounds and 60 or more steals in a season.
• Glenn owns 10 games this season with the combined stat line of 10 or more points, five or more rebounds and two or more steals and 12 such games in her career.
• At Iowa State on Jan. 11, Glenn registered one of the most unique and diverse stat lines by a Wildcat since at least the 2009-10 season. Glenn tallied 17 points, 10 rebounds, six steals, three assists and two blocks. According to HerHoopStats, Glenn is the only Power 5 player in the nation and one of just four nationally this season to reach these marks in a game. She is the only K-State player to achieve these numbers in all of these categories in a game since 2009-10.
• Against West Virginia on Jan. 7, Glenn recorded her first career double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and three steals.
• In her career, Glenn has scored in double figures in 26 games, has 25 games with five or more rebounds and 30 games with two or more steals, including 10 with four or more.

Sundell Sets the Table
Serena Sundell has established herself at the point for K-State with her distribution skills.
• In the 2022-23 season, Sundell has handed out 128 assists (4.92 apg) including a season-high 10 against Oklahoma State on Jan. 4.
• Sundell ranks fourth in the Big 12 in assists per game and sixth in assist to turnover ratio (1.78). In Big 12 action, Sundell is averaging 4.69 assists and ranks fourth in the category.
• Sundell's 128 assists this season rank fifth in program history for assists in a sophomore season.
• She has 35 career games with five or more assists including three games with 10 or more assists with a career-high of 11 assists.
• Sundell's career total stands at 304 and ranks 15th on the K-State career assists list. She is the 15th player in program history with 300 or more career assists. Sundell is the third player in program history (Shalee Lehning; Megan Mahoney) with 300 or more assists by the conclusion of their sophomore season.
• Her career assist to turnover ratio of 1.82 is fourth in program history (min. 100 career assists).
• The 2022 All-Big 12 Honorable Mention recipient handed out 176 assists (5.3 apg) and a 1.85 assist to turnover ratio in her freshman season in 2021-22. 
• Sundell's total of 176 assists ranked seventh in school history for a single season. Sundell was responsible for 32.3 percent of K-State's assists last season.
• Sundell was the second freshman in program history with 175 or more assists in their debut season and her total of 176 ranked second among K-State freshmen behind Shalee Lehning's school record of 189 in 2005-06. 
• Sundell, a five-time Big 12 Freshman of the Week recipient in 2021-22, was third in the Big 12 and 20th in the nation for total assists. She was second in the Big 12 and 23rd in the nation for assists per game.
• Among the nation's freshmen, Sundell was second in total assists and assists per game. 
• Against Iowa State on Jan. 11, Sundell tallied a career-high 11 assists. This was the 15th time a K-State player handed out 11 assists in a game and was the most assists by a Wildcat since Kayla Goth tied the school record with 13 against West Virginia on March 9, 2019.

Gregory Sets Transfer Point Mark
• Guard Gabby Gregory has been a dynamic addition to the K-State lineup this season.
• Gregory has scored a career-high 513 points this season. Her 513 total points are the most by a K-State transfer in their first season with the Wildcats since the 2011-12 season.
• Gregory's 513 points are the fourth-most in the Jeff Mittie era. She is the fifth Wildcat to score 500 or more points in a season since the 2014-15 season.

Charity Stripe Focus for Gregory
• Guard Gabby Gregory has been a strong free throw shooter in her career and has continued to rack up the attempts at K-State.
• This season, Gregory is 134-of-155 (.865) from the foul line. She ranks third in the Big 12 and 33rd in the nation in free throw percentage. She is 18th in the nation for free throws made. This season, Gregory is 31-of-37 (.838) from the foul line in the final five minutes of regulation and overtime.
• Gregory holds the school record for career free throw percentage, .865 (min. 2 free throw attempts/game) and ranks fourth in program history for free throw percentage in a season.
• Her 134 made free throws this season are a new career single-season high. She ranks sixth in school history for free throws made in a season. This season, Gregory has made five or more free throws in a game 12 times.
• Against Iowa on Nov. 17, Gregory was 12-of-14 from the foul line including a 6-of-8 effort in the final 2:13 of the game and the game-winning free throw with 3.7 seconds left.
• Against Northern Arizona on Nov. 25, Gregory reached a new career-high for free throws made and attempted, going 13-of-16 (.813). Her 13 made free throws made tied for eighth in school history for a single-game, while her 16 attempts tied for 10th for a game.
• In her career, Gregory is 326-of-379 (.860) from the charity stripe. She has made five or more free throws in a game 28 times including four games with 10 or more made.
