1. K-State 10th in AP & 11th Coaches Polls
• K-State rose three spots to 10th in this week's Associated Press top-25 poll. This is the 61st week in program history in which has been ranked in the AP top-10. The Wildcats check in at 11th in this week's WBCA/USA Today Coaches Poll.
2. 80-80 Vision
• K-State has scored 80 or more points in the first two games of a season for the first time since the 2016-17 season. The 174 points are the most after the first two games in the Jeff Mittie era and the most since 2007-08 (175 points).
3. Glenn Does It All in Week 1
• Senior guard Jaelyn Glenn is the only player at a Power 4 school and 1 of 7 in the nation to average 10 or more points, 5 or more rebounds, 2 or more steals and make 3 or more 3-point field goals per game (min. 2 games played).
4. Walker Involves All
• Sophomore Zyanna Walker tied her career-high for assists in the 2024-25 season-opener with seven assists and zero turnovers in her first career start. She is averaging 6.0 assists after two games.
5. Lee on Cusp of Scoring Record
• Senior center and 2024-25 Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year Ayoka Lee needs 133 points to pass Kendra Wecker (2001-05; 2,333 points) for the K-State career scoring record.

At a Glance: Creighton
• Creighton (1-1) bounced back from a season-opening road loss at South Dakota State to down Drake on Monday at home, 80-72.
• The Bluejays were voted second in the 2024-25 Big East Conference preseason poll and collected one first place vote. The program trailed only defending league champion UConn.
• Creighton is guided on the sideline by 23rd-year head coach Jim Flanery. The 1987 graduate of Creighton owns a career record of 431-268 (.617) in his time with the Bluejays.
• The Bluejays feature two players that were named to the 2024-25 Preseason All-Big East Conference First Team - Lauren Jensen and Morgan Maly.
• Jensen is a candidate for the Naismith Watch List and the Ann Meyers Drysdale Watch List. Through the first two games this season, Jensen is averaging 27.5 points per game on a .568 field goal percentage, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals. Against Drake, Jensen tallied 32 points on 12-of-16 shooting, 10 rebounds and three steals.
• Maly is a candidate for the Katrina McClain Watch List. Through two games, Maly is averaging 15.5 points on a .464 field goal percentage, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks. Against Drake, she notched 20 points, three rebounds, three assists and three blocks.

K-State Among the Rankings
• K-State rose three spots in the Associated Press (AP) top-25 poll to number 10 in week two.
• Since making its poll debut on Nov. 20, 2023, K-State has been ranked for 21 consecutive weeks. This is the longest consecutive streak for K-State since being ranked for the entirety of the 2004-05 season. In its history, K-State has now been ranked for a total of 194 weeks in the AP poll, including 61 weeks as a top-10 team.
• As an AP ranked team, K-State owns a 250-95 (.725) record. The Wildcats picked up its 250th win on Nov. 7, 2024, against Belmont. 
• Kansas State made its 2024-25 preseason debut at 13th in the AP top-25 poll. This was the fourth time in program history and the first time since the 2004-05 season that K-State appeared in the AP preseason poll. This was the program's highest preseason ranking since 2003-04 when the Wildcats entered the season ranked fifth.
• During the 2023-24 season, the Wildcats achieved the program's highest ranking in the Jeff Mittie era (2014-present), as the team was ranked 2nd on Jan. 29, 2024. It was the highest ranking for the program in the AP poll since Nov. 25, 2002 when K-State was ranked 2nd.
• According to Stats Perform, K-State was the first women's program since the start of the AP poll in 1976 to go from unranked in the preseason to either No. 1 or No. 2 in the same season.
• The Wildcats are ranked 11th in this week's USA Today/WBCA Coaches Poll. 
• The Wildcats have been ranked in 21 straight USA Today/WBCA Coaches Polls dating back to Nov. 20, 2023. 
• K-State debuted in the Coaches poll in the preseason at 13th. This is the fourth time K-State has appeared in the preseason Coaches Poll and the first time since 2004-05. This is K-State's highest preseason ranking in the poll since 2003-04 when the Wildcats entered the season ranked fifth.
• K-State reached a high of 2nd in the Coaches Poll for two straight weeks in the 2023-24 season, its highest Coaches Poll ranking since being ranked 2nd in the third poll of the 2002-03 season.

Magic Number is 70 Points
• Since the 2014-15 season, K-State is 108-21 (.837) when scoring 70 or more points in a game.
• The Wildcats opened the 2024-25 season with 92 points against Green Bay. This was the ninth time in 57 season-openers in which K-State scored 90 or more points in the first game.
• With its 82 points against Belmont on Nov. 7, K-State registered consecutive games with 80 or more points to start a season for the first time since 2016-17.
• K-State's point total of 174 in the first two games was the most since the 2007-08 season (175).
• During the 2023-24 season, the Wildcats averaged 71.7 points per game and scored 70 or more points in a game 18 times (15-3). This was the highest scoring average in a season under head coach Jeff Mittie.
• K-State scored 2,437 points last season. This was the third straight season K-State registered 2,000 or more points and the seventh time in the Mittie era (2014-present).

Wildcats Solid From the Arc
• K-State opened the 2024-25 season with a barrage from deep.
• For the season, K-State is shooting 39.2 percent (20-of-51) from 3-point range.
• The Wildcats registered 11 connections from 3-point range against Green Bay.
• In the Jeff Mittie era, the Wildcats have made five or more 3-pointers in a game 232 times in 327 total games including 39 games with 10 or more connections (w-l: 33-6) from deep.
• In the 11 seasons under Mittie, K-State has buried 1,994 three-pointers which is 6.10 per game.
• The Wildcats continued to spread the floor from long range in the 2023-24 season.
• In the 2023-24 season, K-State shot 31.4 percent (218-of-694) from 3-point range. K-State's 218 made 3-pointers (6.4 per game) represents 26.8 percent of its point total. This was the highest 3-point field goal percentage since 2016-17.
• The Wildcats made a season-high 11 three-pointers three times this season: vs. Wisconsin (Nov. 19), at Oklahoma (Jan. 31) and vs. Iowa State (Feb. 28).
• K-State had seven different players register at least one game with three or more connections from long range (Gabby Gregory, 8x; Jaelyn Glenn, 4x; Gisela Sanchez, 2x; Taryn Sides, 2x; Brylee Glenn; Serena Sundell; Zyanna Walker).
• The 2023-24 Wildcats were the fourth team in program history to have five or more players make 20 or more 3-pointers in a season. When combined with the effort of the 2022-23 season, this marks the first time in program history K-State recorded consecutive seasons with five or more players on the roster making 20 or more 3-pointers in a season.

Board Work Not Boring
• K-State dominated the glass in its season-opening win over Green Bay on Nov. 4. The Wildcats hauled in 56 rebounds and were a +31 in rebound margin.
• The Wildcats' 56 rebounds were the most rebounds from the program since pulling in 61 rebounds against Oral Roberts on Dec. 18, 2023.
• The +31 rebound margin was the highest since a +31 advantage over McNeese State on Dec. 6, 2023.
• The Wildcats recorded 23 second-chance points against Green Bay. The 23 second-chance points were the most since scoring 23 against Kansas on Feb. 13, 2021.
• Since the 2001-02 season, Kansas State owns a record of 286-46 (.861) when holding the edge on the glass including a 44-3 (.936) record in the last four seasons.
• For the season, K-State is averaging 48.5 rebounds per game and hold a +17.5 rebound margin over its foes.
• K-State held the advantage on the glass in the 2023-24 season, as the Wildcats out-rebounded its opponents in 19 games last season (17-2).
• In the 2023-24 season, the Wildcats averaged 38.1 rebounds per game and held a +3.7 rebound margin. K-State was third in the Big 12 and was 23rd in the nation for defensive rebounds per game (28.8 drpg).

Poindexter Attacks from 3
• Senior Temira Poindexter has sparked K-State from deep to open the 2024-25 season.
• In the first two games, Poindexter is 8-of-17 (.471) from 3-point range.
• Against Belmont on Nov. 7, Poindexter made a season-high five 3-point field goals. This was the most 3-point field goals made by a Wildcats since Gabby Gregory made five at Washington on March 24, 2023.
• In her collegiate career, Poindexter is 189-of-600 (.315) from distance. She owns 56 career games with two or more 3-point field goals made, including 16 career games with four or more 3-point field goals made.

Glenn Finds the Range 
• Jaelyn Glenn continues to be a perimeter threat for K-State.
• This season, Glenn is 6-of-12 (.500) from 3-point range.
• Glenn opened the 2024-25 season with a 4-of-9 effort from long range against Green Bay on Nov. 4. This was her first game with four or more 3-point field goals since Feb. 25, 2023, at West Virginia.
• In her career, Glenn is 161-of-479 (.336) from long range. She has 49 career games with two or more connections from 3-point range including six games with four or more.
• With six connections from long range, Glenn will move into 10th on the K-State career 3-point field goals made list. She is 10th in program history for career 3-point field goals attempted.
• Glenn is the second player in school history with 150 or more 3-point field goals made and 200 or more career steals. (Kendra Wecker).
• In the 2023-24 season, the product of Kansas City, Missouri, shot 42-of-133 (.316) from beyond the arc. She had 13 games with two or more connections from long range including a season-high three five times.
• In the 2022-23 season, Glenn shot 71-of-195 (.364) from 3-point range. Her 71 three-point field goals made were a personal single-season high and tied for fourth-most in a sophomore season in program history.
• Glenn was one of 13 sophomores in the nation in the 2022-23 season with 70 or more connections from 3-point range, including one of four in a Power 5 conference.
• During the 2022-23 season, she had a career-best 23 games with two or more connections from long range, including a season-high four against Northern Arizona on Nov. 25, at Iowa State on Jan. 11 and at West Virginia on Feb. 25.
• Glenn was unique nationally, as she was the only player in NCAA Division I in 2022-23 with 70 or more 3-point field goals made and 90 or more steals.
